These are AWESOME!!!
My 4 y/o 7lb Morkie was trained to use these. We’ve had 2 smaller ones in the past, but ordered this larger one on 6/25 & received it today 7/13 (to SE Alaska) This pan Came with 2 turfs & 2 washable pads. We’ve got a very long patio & her ‘area’ is at the far end, away from where people hang out- this will be the first time we’ve had the washable mats so will update that in time- but we usually hose off the turf, pour antiseptic cleanser on to ‘soak’ then hose again- works GREAT! We just leave the patio door open a crack & she goes to this to do her business whenever she needs to- if the door is closed, she noses a bell hanging from the doorknob to alert us she needs to go out- I truly wouldn’t train a small dog any other way! (I am 68 & cannot take her out on walks as often as I’d like)

Works wonders for our Great Dane puppies!
We have 11 Great Danes and on occasion we have a planned litter. These litter trays work wonderfully with the puppies. I place them in the whelping box when they are 3 wks old and by the time they are 8 wks old, they are basically potty trained to do their business on GRASs! So as soon as I take the puppies outside after 6 wks of age, they automatically associate outside grass to "Potty". I have had numerous compliments on how easy our puppies take to potty training when they go to their furever homes! We buy multiple trays and grass/pee pads to be able to rinse off outside with water, then wyishy wash to kill any bacteria. We do this daily, so I always need an alternate while one set is drying and another is in use. *Note: you definitelyneed to place a barrier around it once the puppies get about 4 wks or so bc if you dont, they will drag the grass pad everywhere. Keep in mind- I have great danes so they are big babies. If you have a smaller breed, probably not an issue. I tried to upload a picture but it wouldnt download. #FieldofDreamDanes

Trial and error
So this is a great idea for dogs but it takes time to experiment with your pup and this grass. Some pups won’t like it/use it while it might work for others. In my case, it worked but there are pros and cons. Pros: comes with 2 grass carpets so that you can wash and dry one while your dog always has a clean one to use. It took a while but my 8 week puppy learned to do her business only on this grass which is SUPER helpful because we live in the apartment. Cons: a huge con is that my puppy like all puppies was eating this grass and pretty much destroyed the corners of it. I was worried for her to eat the plastic grass in the beginning but eventually gave up because I rather her not go all over the carpets but also she pooped the plastic grass out so not a big deal and one month later she grew out of eating it. Now a month later I have a potty trained puppy thanks to this grass. Was it easy and worry free? No. Was it worth buying this grass. Probably. I suggest you give it a try and see how it goes with your dog/puppy. Might work for some but not all. In my scenario this was the best solution because my puppy didn’t approve anything else such as pee pads, etc. This grass helped my puppy to go potty outside on real grass as well because she made the association/connection.

Best training pad purchase ever
This thing is absolutely fantastic!!!! Very low height so even puppies could use if they were trained. Designed wonderfully. NOT recommended to machine was the grass as it may unravel in machine washer. I rotate between the two pads and grass covers every couple of days. I work nights and leave the kitchen door to the garage open and my dog just walks out there in the garage, does her thing and no more inside messes!! Grass is VERY easy to hose off outside. If using more than 4 or 5 days, a mild smell of stale urine is noticeable when near the pad.

Great alternative when yard areas are unavailable!
Training a new puppy to this for when I am not home. She is used to going on grass but quickly adapted to this when it is raining as I keep it on the deck for her. It is of great quality for the price and feels soft like natural grass. I use disposable training pads under the grass instead of the included reusable ones as I find them easier and more sanitary overall. Great purchase!!

Dog won’t use it. Tried everything!
My adult dog has gone potty on artificial turf for 10 years but now that we moved to a condo we needed a way for her to go in case we couldn’t take her downstairs and outside and figured since she is already used to artificial turf this would be simple. Well, she won’t go on it. Tried 50 times and she just ignores it and if we put her on it she just stares at us. Then of course we take her down to real grass and she goes the minute she feels real grass. Are we missing something? Like do you sell some squirrel or dog urine or pheromones we need to put on the mat first to attract her to use it? Completely at a loss to get this working. Ugh

Perfect for my dog while I’m away at work
I got this for my dog for when I have to work all day. At first, I thought she wasn’t using it and she may not have been initially but now she does use it.! I didn’t have to train her to at all. I think this is great because I feel bad leaving her when I have to.

Comes with 2 grass pads
Great to have the 2 grass pads so one is always clean. I use the disposable pee pads underneath and it works just great. I have 2 small dogs so am purchasing a bigger one, they had no problem using it.

Not a durable option for teething puppies
Not recommended for a puppy, they chew through it quite easily
