I've had this installed now for around 4 months and it's hard to tell if it actually filters effectively. It definitely softens water. Usually by this point I would have to remove calcified deposits from the shower head but this has effectively removed them. I would imagine that it's effective up to the traditional filtering range for most of these multi media filters that use layered media. I'm happy enough with not having to deal with cleaning my shower heads anymore so I think this was a decent buy. I have notices some minimal improvements in my dandruff maybe this helped, it's hard to tell with these things unless I had water analysis.

This is the 3rd time that I continue buy this product.

I had to purchase a separate seal for the shower side of the filter. The one that came with it was smashed and unusable. Other than that, the water quality and softness is to our liking and we don't get any of the smell we used to.

Works well for the price point. I did have to change out my shower head as I couldn't get my regular one to attach properly

I had tried quite a few different filter products for my shower. Florida water is way too harsh. I was excited to receive this as well as the Cobbe filter shower head, because let’s be honest, double filtration is the way to go! Easy install, no tools needed and no leaks. First shower has already felt amazing! Looking forward to seeing if hard water still creates stains on my glass shower doors!
