A great cue at a bargain price.
After two months of daily use, I can honestly say this is a great cue at a impossible bargain price. Very low deflection, excellent finish and feel, proper weight, wonderful tip. It's by no means a flashy cue, but it has nice detail. The handle is finished with some pin striping and a carbon fiber under gloss. The shaft is mat, very smooth and a nice Pro taper. This is easily a $500 cue. I could not be happier. My game is now 'no excuses'. Even if you are a beginner looking for a first or second cue, buy this and you will have enough cue to last you for years to come.

What a nice surprise !
I ordered the CL01 cue set 2. I got everything shown in the stock photo : --- Carbon shaft + cue butt, with joint protectors. --- 1x1 cue case, a nice surprise because it's a hard case with a soft exterior pouch, and a shoulder strap. --- 4 weight bolts. There is another weight bolt (smallest in photo attached) came installed in the cue, making a total of 5. --- Cue Extension. The thread is slightly different from the stock photo. It's has less threads = less time needed to switch around. Now for the review: Cue plays very well. Joint was smooth and seamless, this is very important to me because I've caught my beard with cues that have less than perfect joints and it HURT. The paint and finish job looks better than those stock photo. The tip is multi layered leather. It's medium hard, leaning towards hard. Rolls straight, no surprise here. And it's carbon so it should stay this way for years to come. One thing that was not mentioned here was the weight. Probably because it varies and they don't want people crying about it's off by 0.25 oz. I weighted mine, and here is my result : Shaft = 3.88 oz Butt (with factory installed weight bolt removed) = 14.46 oz. Factory installed weight bolt = 0.60 oz. (4) included weight bolts = 1.23 oz. ; 1.83 oz. ; 2.47 oz. and 3.03 oz. Cue extension : 3.28 oz. Conclusion : This is a decent choice for people starting out. The set has plenty of things for you to explore with and learn from. You are not getting AAAAAA graded maple, or any exotic wood, abalone shell, gold, ........ You are getting a decent playing cue with all the essential accessories. With it's hard leather tip and the biggest weight bolt, you can probably use it as a break cue when you are ready to upgrade from this later, or keep this as a spare cue, or take it to the bar with all the greasy food (carbon wipes clean easily). At this price, I would be really pissed if it gets stolen, but at least I won't be crying.

Surprising in every respect.
This is a review I never anticipated writing, but I actually am blown away by this product. Usually, most things fail to live up to the hype. This is one that actually surpasses your expectations, immediately. It's beautiful looking, and smooth as silk. It's going to take some time to get accustomed to the sound it makes striking the cue, but it shoots like a champ. I'm confident that this will improve most players games. I'm an "old timer" and have collected wooden Adam cues since the late 70s. This is a real departure for me, and I was certain that I would hate it. I was wrong. It's simply great, and an amazing value. I can't believe that they can make a cue of this quality, and attention to detail... and sell it for so little. It's like a gift. Just to add a quick note about the graphics. I was reluctant to purchase many of the carbon cues that I've seen due to the juvenile graphics. This one is subdued, tasteful, and beautifully done. I didn't think I would like the grip not being on Irish linen... but I do. You will love this cue, and it will serve you well for many years to come. It's so well built that it will likely become a legacy item in your family. Highly recommended. A pleasure to shoot with.

If considering, read this
Got the 006-CL Pro 2, is advertised as having a Pro Taper shaft, exact description as the 005-CL Pro 1, it does NOT have a pro taper shaft. I have to be fair here, the cue, especially for the price impressed me. Get a legit carbon fiber shaft, the butt was great with a nice finish, adjustable weight, and an extension ready butt cap, hard to beat. However When received and discovered did not have a pro taper shaft, did a return/replacement, figured was an error, nope, second one also no pro taper. Reached out to seller, they do respond, informing me the CL Pro 1 has the pro taper. Was confused as they advertised the "Pro" models all having a pro taper shaft....so very poor item description for these cues but good seller communication. So I ordered the CL Pro 1 and yes, does have a pro taper shaft. So I had to order THREE cues to get the pro taper shaft model when if the pro 2 had the proper shaft would have been perfectly ok with the cue. The pro 2 has a butt design i liked but not the proper shadt. *no the shaft of the pro 1 does not fit properly on the pro 2* the connection at the joint doesn't align. The pro 1 is so bland and not only that, the matte finish butt is very slick, so grip is an issue. Was such a hassle, not sure if will keep due to the butt being so slick. I will say this though, at the price point, do get a nice cue, if you can get the correct one. Has a nice layered tip and quality is good. I would recommend this cue so long as you are aware which taper shaft you are getting.

Recommend this!!
Recently I so into playing pool my husband got me two nice pool stick. I started beating him pretty bad. He asked a pool stick for Xmas. I researched a lot. Was gonna buy him expensive well known brand. But since he doesn’t play as much. I wanted to find him decent but affordable one first. This one is a beast. Looks like a beast feels like a beast. All my friends thought it was very expensive one. It’s so smooth and nice I don’t need a glove (my hands are very moist I need a glove but this one I’m ok without) accuracy is great He started beating me these days. If you have a skill, stick doesn’t matter but it felt like this stick works fantastic. I want to order one for myself too. Totally recommend (These days we go play pool twice a week or more)

I played about 20 rounds on this que so far and I am very pleased The pro taper shaft has a wonderful feel in the hand. The shaft is very smooth, which helps it glide extremely well. The que has a very precise feel very positive impact the sound is muted and not hollow sounding, which surprised me. The one thing that did catch me off guard is the Cue feels very cold in hand, which might take some getting used to coming from a wooden que.. Overall, I would say this is a wonderful piece of kit and I’m sure I’ll stick with it for many years…

Cue was as advertised. Beautiful graphics and a nice feeling cue. I'm an intermediate player and have a lot to learn. Not sure there is a deflection difference in a carbon fibre cue though. Need more time to get used to the different strike and sound. I wish I had read all of the reviews first before using the cue. I have a brand new Champioship cloth in light gray on my table. I noticed a black mark on the top of the rail where I always break from. I kind of disregarded it at the time as I thought it was something on my hands. Then I started noticing these black marks all over the table on the top of the rails. I grabbed a micro fiber cloth and wiped down the shaft. The cloth turned absolutely black. Now my new cloth is ruined. Not sure if the seller is going to do anything about it. Also when I unpacked the box, I noticed residue of blue chalk on the tip. So what really happened? After reading all the reviews, I noticed one other buyer had the black on the cabon fibre shaft as well. The cue is nice, but I'm very disgruntled about the damage to the cloth on my table. Not sure if this is something that will continue to bleed out or not. Is this the reason they include a cloth with the stick? If so where is the instruction on cleaning and what could happen? It may be hard to see the cloth damage as I tried to blot it off with a damp micro fibre towel. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.
