Father’s Day foodie gift — a paella an! You just have to use the most authentic ingredients that yo can; and I did. Rey del Arroz Bomba rice is the rice for paella. I will find out other Spanish recipes to use the for as well, but if you are making paella, this is it. The consistency for both day of eating and leftovers is superb. Even though I cooked it a little long for my first paella, it absorbed flavors well and was the hit of a Father’s Day dinner. Muy elegante y perfecto! Muchas gracias!

It makes great paella

The rice cooks well and has a nice consistency. I have bought this more than once to make for my family. It tastes great and is a great value. I do not eat rice much but I like making paella(like) dishes with this rice.

Yes, you can fall in love with rice. I can say this is wonderful rice. People underestimate the difference that great ingredients make, even if they seem basic like rice - rice is anything but basic. I adore this product. Spain's agricultural professionals know what they are doing with rice cultivation. This rice is wonderful for many culinary uses not just paella. Of course your paella will have that sublime special taste and texture if you use this. But I use it for many dishes and even just to eat plain white rice, yes it is that good. I wish I could order a 25lb bag. Now more details - each grain is whole, no broken grains, the starch level is perfect. It is forgiving, meaning if you use a little extra water it won't be mushy. If you have never tried the various rices from Spain, please do. They are remarkable and make me want to move to Spain. Enjoy!
