For a Halloween Costume
I bought this for a Halloween costume. A little large, to be fair I normally wear a (16)L/XL, so I'm on the smaller size of plus size. The smallest notch in belt fits around me nicely, although going another notch down would have been better. The belt is made nicely, it probably will last a while and it doesn't look too cheap. It has a lot of elastic in the back for stretching. It would be better if it had a slide loop to hold the end of the belt in.

Lovely belt, but bigger than advertised.
I tried on the belt today and really liked it, but it IS a bit bigger than is advertised. I have a 42" waist and this belt was a comfortable fit (not tight, but not loose either) on its tightest notch. It could most likely fit somebody with a 46"-48" waist comfortably. In my opinion, also, someone with a 34"-38" waist may be disappointed with the size seeing as it might end up too large for them. That aside, it's a really cute belt and I'd recommend it to others!

I absolutely LOVE these belts! This is the 4th color that I have purchased!

a bit big
If your waist is smaller than 40 inch this will be way big. At a 44 inch waist I have this on the tightest setting and it fits ok. If I was much smaller it would have been way to big. The belt flap has nothing to tuck it into either so it will just stick straight out if you do not secure it somehow. Overall i like the belt and it will rock with a big white shirt and jean capri's.

For the price, I guess I can't complain, but I was expecting a patent leather belt, not a partially patent leather belt. About half of this belt is made of stretchy nylon, I guess to accommodate larger waists? It certainly would do that. I bought this because my waist measures 37". I have it on the highest belt hole, so, yeah, larger waist measurement could fit into this comfortably. I bought this because my favorite clothing shop was out of stock on their wide velvet belt in my size. I guess this will work until I can get the belt I wanted? The sad thing is, the belt I wanted is only two dollars more than this one and is made of velvet all the way around. :/
