Silicon Power 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive, Jewel J80

Very nice flash drive. I just received it and it works perfectly, hoping for longevity and durability from this waterproof device. I will be testing it heavily as I plan to keep it on my key ring and using it daily. Very nice look and feel to the flash drive. Much smaller than the old style flash drives.

Got this for my MacBook earlier this year. Has been working great on a daily basis. I use it to transfer files between my MacBook and my older Macs that have USB A. It's small and durable. Good speed, too.

The product arrive undamaged and worked flawlessly. I was able to move files over to it without a problem. The durability on it is great too. Because I work in an environment with rugged terrain and water, this has come in hand with keeping my file safe in situations that aren’t normal for flash drives.

It is durable, seems well built, works fine. The drawback is that it is a VERY tight fit in some USB ports, to the point where it makes me uncomfortable wondering if I will damage the USB port or the device inserting it.

I bought several of these for use as OS install media. Fair warning though, their performance is a bit lopsided. I tested with a single large file that was roughly 1.3 GB. I wrote the file to the thumbdrive from my desktop and read it back off with my laptop to avoid various cache issues. (Both computers support using USB 3.1 speeds.) This is a real copy test not a benchmark program. After the write speed settled down after a few moments at the beginning, I saw write speeds of 9 MB/s to 13 MB/s (with the average hanging around 11.5 MB/s). Reading the same file off of the thumbdrive onto my laptop shows a very consistent read speed of right around 139 MB/s to 141 MB/s. What that means for me is that it takes a long time to create OS install media on the thumbdrive (slow write speed) but that installing the OS onto a computer is extremely fast (very fast read speed). Since I don't need to recreate install media very often, but I tend to use it fairly often this didn't bother me in the slightest.

I bought this in January of 2018. It is now July of 2022 and it has failed me. I carry it on my keychain and only use it intermittently for occasional file transfers and backups. Fortunately, I don't rely on it for really important things. It is no longer recognized by my PC or my Android phone. It's a mini-brick. It looks brand new, and it's never been abused other than carried in my pocket everyday.

I’ve had so many flash drives over the course of my life, but this one is easily my favorite. It’s so convenient to always have one on hand, so naturally, many flash drives have a little hole to attach it to a keychain/lanyard. BUT, most of the flash drives I’ve had/seen are composed of a thin plastic. After dangling on a keychain for while, the hook on many of my former flash drives broken off, and many times I ended up losing them while walking around. This flash drive, however, is made of metal and seems durable to last on my keychain for years to come. And ~$10 for 32GB is relatively cheap for the storage size and quality

Even a single file such as a large ISO is slower write than expected (about 27 MB/sec). Fast read, single ISO file 200 MB/sec. Very convenient on keychain. No issues after 1 month. Haven't gotten wet or dirty yet. Will edit review if situation encountered.

Fait le travail mais semble un peu fragile car elle est très petite (15mm x 40mm). Le connecteur 2.0 aurait avantage à être protégé comme le connecteur de type C. La clé quant à elle fonctionne très bien et à bonne vitesse. Elle ne possède pas de DEL de fonctionnement. Elle tient très bien dans un anneau de porte-clés.

リング付きで可搬性がよく、２タイプのコネクタが使用できるので、PCとスマホでデータのやり取りがしやすく重宝しています。コネクタ部がむき出しなので、耐久性に不安がありますがまだまだ使い始めなのでなんとも言えません。耐水性もしかりです。今のところ全体的には満足しています。
