## Description

Choose RTG Bar & Table Top Epoxy to put a head-turning, mirror-like finish on bartops, counters, & tabletops, . It looks wet even after it dries! This easy-to-use, 2-part, pourable resin coating is self-leveling and dries to a super-hard, ultra-clear, high-gloss finish that resists scratches and yellowing. You can coat a flat surface as is, or get creative! Customize the top by embedding interesting objects beneath the surface, such as bottle caps, sea glass, fishing lures, magnets, or other mementos you want to preserve and display. Start by gluing the objects to the surface (so they don't float), then apply a thin sealer coat of mixed epoxy, followed by subsequent flood coats, up to 1/8 inch thick each. This epoxy sets up relatively fast, so you can do multiple thin pours and embed objects in each layer, which makes the objects appear to float. RTG Bar & Table Top Epoxy is very easy to use, especially if it's your first time using an epoxy product. It has a simple, 1:1 mix ratio by volume, and is very easy to pour directly onto the prepared surface. Any bubbles will rise to the surface and pop on their own, or you can remove them easily by waving a heat gun or hair dryer back and forth quickly over the surface. Because this epoxy resin coating has higher heat deflection properties than varnish, you can put hot food and other hot items (up to 125°F) on the cured surface. And its high-build properties mean a single coat is equal in appearance to several coats of expensive varnish. To return the resin to its liquid state, place the resin in its sealed container into a basin containing hot tap water (125-140°F). Maintain this water temperature. Gently shake the container periodically during this process to break up any remaining crystals. To prevent crystallization from recurring, store resin in a dry location above 60°F.

A: There are 231 cubic inches in a gallon. There are 144 square inches in 1 square foot.  144 x 0.125 (1/8") = 18 cubic inches of epoxy per 1 square foot at 0.125" thick. 231/18 = 12.83 sq. ft. of epoxy coverage per gallon at 0.125" thick.

**Q: Is this a thin resin?**
A: This is a thin resin, excellent for table tops. Super hard finish. Mix thoroughly.

Overall 5 Stars....for it's designed purchase. Quality, hardness, easy of use (for epoxy). My biggest complaint: No website, instructions are tiny and hard to read, and cannot pour more than 1/8" thickness at a time. So...This is meant for a top layer. It excels in that. This idiot did a river table over 1" thick. Which technically worked. But there's better Epoxy to use for thick pours. Not this one. However, it did work. 1/8 to 1/4" pour at a time. So, I made a "mistake". But, I'm still very impressed with the product. I will purchase again, but only use it for final layers.

So this product works as designed. Do make sure you are in the temperature range that helps with curing. We were a bit colder so it just took longer to cure. Make sure you have a heart gun or torch available, mixing this epoxy resin no matter how careful you are produces a ton of bubbles!!! Gun or torch them out. They will continue to rise, come back to your project an hour after putting and you can still gun them out before it fully sets and starts curing. Make sure you mix the FULL 5 minutes scraping bottom and sides was you go. Cured perfectly clear minus the dust spots. You can sand off dust spots then put another layer. We did that and you can't even tell on the next layer (flood pour) where you sanded after curing. We're mixed small batches... 1 liter at a time as this was a smaller project.
