Excellent
Love the boot. Since I received it on Oct 25th he is using it 24hrs per day. The material keeps his hoof dry and clean, just the leather pad is broken on the tip, otherwise me my horse and all the people at the stable loves it. Easy to put on. Totally recommend it

This boot has been a Godsend!
I bought this for my horse when he came down with canker. We had been treating his foot and duct tape wrapping him daily, but despite about a half roll per wrap, he still ended up with duct tape anklets every 30 hours or so. I tried these boots in hopes the wrap (and therefore the canker treatment) would stay in his frog longer. These boots have been amazing! I can leave the wrap on for 5 days and it’s still perfectly protected, in tact and his foot stays clean!!!After about 4 weeks of almost round the clock wear, the boot finally got a small rip. But a little gorilla tape and it’s holding up! My boy is an 18 year old Tennessee Walker with stiff hocks & stifles and is very rough on his feet! I figured this would be ripped in a few days, but it held on! This boot is half the price of others I tried (even the more heavy duty EasyBoot Therapy boots) that didn’t fit his foot correctly, so I can buy two for the price of one of those and for us has been worth every penny!

short lifetime
This looked to be sturdy and went on the hoof easily. But after only one day, the fabric in the front had worn through. Now this was not fitted to a horse, but to a donkey with a bandaged hoof. The bandage was a diaper held in place with Vet Wrapand covered with duct tape.I would have been happy enough if I got a full week out of the Easyboot, but a single day was too little, by far.

Great idea! But tore away from some in under 12 hours!
I was really hoping this would work! It was easy to put on and it seemed like it was made well. I was wrong. I put this on my thoroughbred one evening in a small pen because she’s on rest for an abscess, and the side of it was torn away from the bottom of it by the next morning. I’m super sad, I was really hoping this would save me from making a gorilla tape bandage every time!

very easy to use
This is a great option for protecting a wrapped or unwrapped foot. I do use them for turnout when the horse has an abscess which does shorten their life...but the ease of use is worth it.

Stated Sizing is Wrong! But Still Works.
Ordered Size 3 for my horse whose front hooves measure 6 1/8" wide and 6 1/8" long (fresh trim done 5 days ago). Size 3 should fit just fine. Size Chart says width 5 3/8" - 6 3/8", and length 5 3/8" - 6 3/8".Boots arrive. Package states Size 3. Pulled out leather insert. Measured it. Width is 6 7/16" (Close enough to 6 3/8"). And Length is 6". Just 6".What? Okay, maybe the material of the boot has enough ease to allow this boot to still be workable. Put leather insert back in. Dusted off his hoof, and tried to slip it on fully. Pull. tug. Okay, that's as on as it is gonna be. Did up velco straps as snug as possible.Nope. His heel bulbs hang over the back of the sole of the boot. The velcro straps gap in the back. Boot looks too small.SO, the sizing is wonky. The fit is wonky. Don't know about the durability, because I need to order a bigger size before I let him out of his stall and into the paddock. So, I'm still stuck with vet wrap, gauze pads, and gorilla tape. Until the next size boot arrives. And I'll update this when it does. <sigh>UPDATED Dec 21, 2021:Ordered the size 4 (next size up and largest size). The leather insert is still shorter that the stated size. I left the leather insert out, and used it over the bandaged hoof. It worked just fine. Kept the bandage clean. See my review for the size 4.Updated my review to 5 stars. Sizing is still wonky, but the boot works.

Already falling apart
Have only used it a few days and the inside seam is ripping away from the base. Horse has been on stall rest with a bell boot over it to keep her from chewing on the boot. I expected better quality of construction.

FANTASTIC
These boots fit. Shaped well ! Light weight and washable. I used them over sole packing. Easy on and off. elastic side panels and generous rolled toe make them comfortable for my horse.Another plus is the strategically placed padding around the pastern- the first boot in my 40 year experience which can be worn without leg wrapping and produce no chaffing. Partly made of a cordura-like upper they allow enough air and repel enough water to leave a dry hoof!
