I followed them exactly, I checked the pot at 6 minutes and notice it looked milky. When I scooped a noodle out it disengrated on the spoon. I got MUSH at 6 minutes. It had no taste and was terrible. To try and salvage my dinner I mixed in some cabbage but that still did not help. It is WASTE of your money. They are not named egg noodles, so I would say they do not contain eggs, but not certain. I can tell you the were very good and not slimey or mushy if cooked correctly. I wish they were easier to obtain locally, but I could not convince the health stores we shop at to purchase them. So I continue to order online. Hope this helps. **Q: Can I make kugel with the gluten free wide noodles and will anyone be able to tell ?** A: I didn't, especially like these noodles. They didn't cook as soft as they should. First of all these are not wide noodles, at least mine weren't. I cooked them exactly according to directions on the package and they turned out like mush! I couldn't even get them to drain through the colander. I had fixed beef tips and gravy in the crock pot and when they were done I attempted to fix these noodles on the stove. My supper was ruined. We had corn, green beans, beef tips in gravy and nothing to pour it over. My daughter has to have gluten free.Luckily I found some type of gluten free noodles and used them. Not the same, but what else was I going to do? My son ended ordering food out.
