It takes some time to learn how to apply liquid eyeliner if you’re not familiar with it. It does seem to glide nicely on the lid, but the other areas can be a little challenging. I had some issues with applying the eyeliner myself, but that is due to inexperience. It does seem to be somewhat smudge proof on the top lid, but it does come off easily on the bottom.
