I think Denon is lying, this doesn't sound like a mere 150w system, its plenty loud and doesn't distort at high volumes !! Very minimalistic look, just the gray fabric at the front with the tiny Denon logo. The remote looks good, but feels cheap, the button are spongy and needs a firm push. The remote is from the 90's, you need to point it head straight at the soundbar for it register a press !! The only reason I bought this over the Polk S4 was the hdmi input with 4k HDR pass-through, this is very important if you have old TV which doesn't have eARC or if it cant decode atmos. It is also convenient to have input port on the soundbar, saves a hdmi port on the TV :) I got it for $249 and its a steal for that price (considering how other soundbars are priced with similar feature set) Review: Superb sound quality - This soundbar gives mind blowing performance. First, its Denon. What more can be said? Second, it supports Dolby Atmos. Third, it supports eARC, which my TV also supports. Which means it supports lossless sounds coming from the TV, unlike ordinary ARC, which is lossy. As a result, dialogues and high notes sound amazingly distinct and crisp. And the base unit also performs well. Fourth, and this is the most important, I got it for 35k. When a movie has a lot of background sounds I can watch it just fine without subtitles if I have the sound enhancer on and I wear my hearing aids. The Denon app includes a simple equalizer, and the sound enhancer turns up the treble to make the sound brighter. Overall, I lover the sound for TV and music. In fact, on must days I have Spotify playing on my sound bar all day. I would recommend this sound bar to a friend. **Q: I have tried the optical on my tv, but am having trouble finding a way to adjust the Volume up/ down witj my dish remote?** A: I connected mine via optical via the HEOS app. once i did, it asked me if i wanted to use my tv remote to control the volume. I completed the steps to train the soundbar to control the volume up/down and mute. works great **Q: Can the sub be paired with a heos amp i want to use the bar in my bedroom and sub in my office?** A: Yes, all the HEOS speakers and devices are backward and forwards compatible, so you would still be able to pair the DHT-S516 sub with a HEOS AMP. **Q: Would i be able to pair my denon home 150s to this for rear channels? i have denon heos throughout our home and am a big denon enthusiast!** A: Thanks for your question.
