I have a honda shadow that has spoke rimes so it uses a tube. I got a small screw in the tire while rolling around in a garage (not a tear while riding).1) When the product arrived, the directions said use the included valve stem removal tool (which was missing). This could be a problem with Amazon or the product seller. I happen to have a valve stem puller so I was able to move forward. Strike 12) The directions also said to use the included tube to transfer the liquid into the wheel, this was also missing meaning I had to come up with a method to get the fluid into the valve stem. Luckily I had a small container with a pointed tip that I was able to get 95% of the goo into the tube. Strike 23) Following the directions and filled the tube with air and drove it around, when I got back I could still hear air leaking out. The hole was in the middle of the tread so I parked with the hole on the down side so the fluid would fill it in. Nothing worked. Parked the bike for a week in that position, filled up with air and it was leaking as bad as always. This stuff is a joke. Strike 3 - Your outGood thing I wasn't depending on this on the road. Save yourself the money and pass on this purchase. I ended up having to get a new tube and tire for around $200 but at the time I thought it was worth the gamble. There were few reviews so I felt I would help by sharing my experience.UPDATE (9-26-18): After my somewhat harsh review, I was contacted by X-Tire and they sent me 2 new containers of the stuff (with the included tools) and a letter addressing my concerns. This stuff is mainly intended to be preventative not a spot repair (I was looking for a hail-Mary in my situation). Only time will tell (and hopefully it is a long time before I test it out). I am giving 2 stars back because they obviously stand behind their product and they went out of their way to earn back my trust. Hmmm.Not recommended for existing flats. Well, ok...Only good in the tire/tube for 2 years. Ugh.Not good for sealing punctures from "glass or metal"... huh? That's gotta be wrong.Worst of all, you can't balance a tire with the sealant in it. Gotta do it before adding.All in all, I'm not going to use it.
