    Good tins but don't like lids.

I've already got another set of Tala cake tins and I thought these would go with them. They are just as good value and well made for the price, but the only downside for me was that they have very heavily decorated (a bit garish for me) lids whereas the other set I bought has plain cream lids, with only small writing of the Tala brand name on. This for me means this don't look quite as nice on the worktops so I have demoted them to cupboard tins. The picture on Amazon makes it hard to see just how much of the lids are covered with large pictures/photos of cakes, biscuits and icing sets. Pics below of these and other type.

These are very pretty tins indeed. They wash and dry easily.  I buy a lot of Tala products so it is nice to have a set.  My own gripe is that the biggest tin isn't as big as I thought - so will just have to look for a bigger Tala tin!
