Used this for years

I bought this product from a paint wholesaler and with my painters discount it was £20 more expensive.

Just redone my 45 foot wooden lodge with this, absolutely beautiful finish. I got the Heritage Oak. Gives it a very nice colour but also allows for the knots to be seen and retain this wooden lodge look. All my neighbours have commented on how beautiful it looks. Definitely recommend this product.

The larger tin was well protected snd is fine. The smaller can was badly damaged as ss it was not protected for transport

I have just finished staining a very old garden shed and Sadolin Extra Woodstain has revived it wonderfully. I know this stain will protect it for quite a few years to come.

My house was originally painted with Sadolin Woodstain some 22 years ago and I have maintained such every four years or so. In areas of high solar radiation (our longest axis is south facing) it really only lasts a maximum of four years however on the north side it lasts much longer. I never let it go beyond four years though. Easy to apply on correctly prepared timber (sand back old cracked paint and then clean with methylated spirit) and takes between 4 & 6 hours to dry. Water repellent within 2-3 hours if unlucky with good old British Summer weather! Colour is good and a close match to our Rosewood coloured double glazing. No real sign of fading over the years although it does start to go a bit darker, nothing drastic though. This stain is high VOC so be aware if you are sensitive to it. Brushes clean up easily with pretty much any of the usual products.
