Ok, at first glance this product may seem like one of those snake oil remedies but I assure you, it performs exactly as advertised. You see a laptop's design makes it quite unsuitable to be cooled using a standard cooling pad, it just doesn't work. But this bad boy is exactly designed for this purpose.It is sort of like attaching a vacuum pump to the cooling vent of your laptop, it sucks out all of the heat inside almost immediately. Bringing the temperature down to a cool 25-27 C. If you have heat spots underneath your laptop which burns your lap only after a few minutes of usage, this is an ideal solution. Not to mention how well it works while running high end games or performance heavy applications.With the accessories included, you can mount this cooler on any kind of laptop. It has buttons to adjust the fan speed with 13 different speed levels and a real time temperature display which can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius scales.Cons:-Makes a lot of noise at full speed.-May end up obstructing any USB ports or speakers(as in my case) close to the vent.The price may seem a little too high for some of you but you have to consider two things :1. Unexpectedly this device is just awesome. I am just repenting spending 1500 on my cooling pad previously, as this one without the cooling pad could brought down temperatures to more than 15 degrees. usually on heavy load my system touches 80+degrees but with this the system hardly touched 70 once or twice and mostly it was within 65 degrees and that's quite awesome. While playing games even I could get extra frames due to lower temperatures on my ASUS ROG GL552VW. It was an issue for the laptop as it has only one fan unlike most of other gaming laptops.

I generally dont give product reviews, but I just had to write up for this awesome product. Firstly i ordered the product with digital display and I am super happy with what i got! For all you to know the product gets shipped from UK and initially I was a bit skeptical and worried about customs and stuff. The seller called me to confirm and told me it will be shipped with DTDC, answered all my questions (even prompt reply to my email - very professional). Thinking the product is getting shipped from UK I assumed (I was wrong) it will take weeks and weeks for me to get the product, but I was wrong... I got it in 4-5 day!Product is worth the buy and really awesome! I use Asus ROG 552V and as all users of Asus ROG would face this issue of heating (esp when playing games in high end resolution like Dota2 or Witcher III) ---> This is a must buy! Fan Speed automatically adjusts based on the temperature, no sound (minimum sound of fan heard). Go for it!

If you've been looking for a cooling solution for your laptop, look no further. This is the single best cooling solution designed for laptops. While most cooling pads run at the range of around 1500 RPM, this one goes up to 5000 RPM.In terms of convenience, it depends on the installation you choose. For my laptop, the permanent installation option wasn't feasible since the foot pads of the laptop were diagonal and blocking the position of the installation point. Note that permanent installation doesn't mean the whole unit is permanently installed. Just the base holder which barely occupies any space. It comes with a metal plate that you can fit into the cooling unit to as per your convenience. Permanent installation is the best choice. The temporary ones use suction cups to fit itself to the laptop and can be inconvenient when moving the laptop around since it'll come apart.My laptop has pretty decent specs except for one. The GPU was pretty shit which resulted in laptop getting very hot even for really old games. I used to have to quit the game within half an hour because the laptop would be so hot to touch that it felt that the insides would get fried. I bought this and took it for a test run. Same game, played for longer. No heating whatsoever. The laptop remained cool to the touch while the cooler did its job.In terms of effectiveness and efficiency, it's a solid 10.I initially had a budget of around 1000-1500 for a cooling pad. Then I decided to YOLO it and buy this one after reading the reviews. Single best investment in this segment. If it could cool my laptop this much without even going to its max power, I'm sure it can cool anyone else's laptop even if it runs hotter than mine.Do check the compatibility section since it may not fit all laptops. If it does fit yours, spend the money on it. It's a much much better investment than the generic coolings pads.It even comes with additional thick foot pads that'll raise your laptop higher than the stock ones in order to improve air circulation.

I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW AFTER USING AROUND 3 MONTHS THERE IS NO FAULT I HAVE SEEN AND ITS COOLING THE LAPTOP VERY FAST NO MATTER HOW HOT UR LAPTOP BECOMES MY LAPTOP TEMP WAS RISING AROUND 50 TO 53 DEGREE BUT AFTER USING THIS COOLER THE TEMP COMES DOWN AROUND 37 TO 38 DEGREE WHICH IS REGULAR TEMP FOR ANY LAPTOP BUT JUST BEFORE BUYING JUST CONTACT VIA MAIL TO OPOLAR SERVICE AND ASK THEM WHETHER UR LAPTOP CAN HAVE A SUPPPORT FOR THIS FAN OR NOT mail id is :[email protected]
