So far, So good
I sent this to my mom in Florida two months ago and so far it's been very healthy. Blooms won't come until next year but the plant itself is doing great.

It came in the mai. Had two leaves. One leaf was dying other looked alright. Not sure its gonna make it.

The plant arrived and it looks really great, healthy, and ready to plant. There were no instructions included, though, as promised.

Heleconia dying or dead
I planted it in the garden area. Shadow in morning but sun by noon and until 4:00 Miracle Grow and water regularly. Seemed healthy at first after planted. Progressively got weaker and weaker. Now just lays on the ground. Very disappointed.

Heliconias do not overwinter well indoors in a colder climate. The plant came in perfect condition.
