Is this filter 1 micron or 5 micron? names says 1 micron but product description says "micron rate : norminal 5 micron".

Dear Customer, thank you for your question. This filter should be 5 micron. Generally, as a whole house filter, 5 micron is a reasonable precision to remove particles and sediments. And because this is also a carbon block filter, it has a big capacity for chlorine reduction. Chlorine reduction is not related to micron rate. It depends on the quality of the activated carbon.
