On my secod ride the pedal came off the shaft caused a very painful, bloody fall and a five mile walk. Luckily I spent the money on a good helmet. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Solid pedals with great looks, but hard to turn despite riding with them for 100+ miles *by K***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2017* These are great pedals. Nice quality, feel very well put together. The grip on them is very good, no slipping off with shoes with some profile. Further, they also look very nice. These are bit on the heavy side, but that is ok/to be expected. However, they also turn very slowly and there is a lot of resistance when turning them. That is normal for new pedals, but I now had them for a while and was riding probably 100+ miles on them. Still turning very hard, no free spinning at all. So I am loosing some energy into those while pedaling - not idea.I will update the review if they improve during warmer temperatures or if any wear-issues come up (none so far). ### ⭐ SAFETY HAZARD- DO NOT BUY! *by D***Q on Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2020* SAFETY HAZARD! I strongly suggest not buying these pedals as they are outright dangerous. Yes, they look good the price is, as most things in life, too good to be true. However, they are definitely not worth potentially injuring yourself.I rode my bike approximately four or five times with these pedals. This week I took a semi long ride and decided to stand on the pedals for more power. Once I did, I heard a crack and immediately sat down. Not a mile down the road the left peddle flew off. Had I been standing on the pedal I could have been seriously injured or killed from a fall.I contacted this seller and told them about the safety issue. Asked if they covered these under warranty and further inquired whether they had reengineered these pedals to be safe given other reviews noting the same problem.
