Great value for money
The transmitter is amazing. For less than 100 dollars this is a great transmitter for beginners and intermediate level users. The controller feels amazing, and being able to store the sticks in the back of the remote is nice touch. Navigating the UI is very simple and makes sense. The unit I purchased came with batteries and has a good battery life, with the remote lasting a week of daily use. Really this transmitter is very high quality for only about 70 dollars. Its size is also very manageable. However, I am not sure if the transmitter has both ELRS and CC2500, but says it on the sticker on the back. Also, for anyone wondering, the transmitter has OMP protocol on it so it works with OMP helicopters. Overall an amazing transmitter for anyone.

Extremely VERSATILE and VERY COMPACT!. BATTERY LIFE+++
GREAT! Fully functional EdgeTX, the smaller size and removable thumb sticks really keeps it's size to such a small form factor I can quickly throw it in my back pocket or sweater pocket and go. I really love it as a SIM controller too. With the 4-in-1 module this thing is as versatile as it gets. I replaced ALL my radios with this one, several protocols. I plan on getting a GX12 for when I need more puttons. I wish it had one more momentary button, but I am not going to nitpick. It is a great radio. THe move to smaller gimbals is not bad, even for me and I wear XXXL gloves. The throttle stick comes very lose and it takes one sec to adjust it to a more buttery smooth feel. Awesome to give to my kids as a trainer since it small and im not going to cry if they drop it. WIth some decent 18650 cells the run time is bonkers! Ther only thing I would change is the built in antenna which is not a huge deal. Later on I am going to 3d print a smaller fixed unit that hugs the case. I don't use it since I use the external bay most of the time. Great radio and should be part of a collection. Great to bring to the park and someone wants to "Try flying" easy to turn on trrainer mode while I supervice with my other radio.,

Awesome Edge/ELRS Radio
Ridiculous upgrade from DSMx protocol, so programmable and customizable! Great battery life with a pair of decent 18650s and onboard charging is convenient. Fits in a small case and removable sticks make it super compact.

Excellent Radio for Newbies and Experienced Pilots
This radio for the price, is an absolute steal. If you are just getting into the hobby and don't know which radio you need or even want, then this is the radio you should get. I wish I would have started with this one instead of the 3 other radios I bought prior. I have owned Turnigy Evolution radios and the BetaFPV Radiolite 2 both have potentiometer gimbals and they wear out eventually which means you have to set deadzone or deal with twitching sticks. This Radiomaster Pocket model feels amazing in my hands. I am 5'10" with fairly large hands, my ring size is 12.5 and this radio fits so well, I just love the thing. I am a hybrid pincher when it comes to grip style, and this radio fits that style very well. None of my other radios came close to accommodating this grip style except the BetaFPV radiolite 2 but the switches often got in my way. If you are on the fence as to which radio to buy, get this and don't look back. This radio has nearly all the features of the TX16, but without the fancy screen and machined gimbals. I pre-ordered the TX15 but now I am loving the pockets so much that I wish I would have waited to pre-order it. TLDR; Get this radio, you won't be disappointed!!

No Drivers or Firmware
I've received two Pockets from Amazon, and both of them lacked firmware. The instruction state very clearly that they should have firmware from the factory, and videos and reviews elsewhere confirm that these should work out of the box. When I try to power the device on, nothing happens. When I connect it to PCs, it's unrecognized and lists as a device without any drivers. Either Amazon has received faulty devices from the manufacturer, or these have been improperly refurbished. In either case, I'm not interesting in spending money for a controller and then having to fix someone else's problems, or discover that the device is actually bricked.

Best radio to start with!
I was honestly surprised at the price and what this actually had to offer me! As a beginner that's done some flight simulator and used a different radio. This was honestly the perfect for beginners to learn. I actually plan on buying a few of these for my kids as well so they can learn!

Great little remote. Comfortable and fits nice in a sweater pocket or backpack. Sticks stow away in the handle grips. It's fairly secure, they haven't fallen out yet after a few weeks.. comes with some classic arcade games pre installed for when you are waiting for batteries to charge. Everything you need to fly is on the remote. It has the upgrade port. Research tells me you can locate and install a "radiomaster ranger nano" or other "nano" modules onto it. The max built-in tx power is 250mw. Perfect fine for ripping around an area but for long range it needs a module for sure. Full speed ELRS tunable speeds. Simulator passthrough and wifi Bluetooth setup and update. The thumb grips are pretty aggressive on the skin. I took a grinding stone and very slowly shaved down the spikes. Checking how it feels after each shave down. With batteries installed and hung from the neck strap piece. It has a perfect balance. Battery life is dependent on your usage and the quality of the cells you installed (18650 cells ×2). If you get a module for the back for high power. It uses its own battery aswell. It comes pre installed with an ad card (I haven't seen 512mb size in a LONG time. Who makes them?????? It's blank as side from size and type.) the sound quality through the speaker holes in the shell is not great but clear enough. The scroll wheel can be a little sensitive at times but it's manageable. You can buy different color shells to suit you.
