This AORUS Master 16 is hands down the best gaming laptop I’ve ever owned. I upgraded from a 50-series model, and the difference is night and day. The RTX 5080 delivers incredible power, every game runs on ultra settings with no lag, no drops, just smooth performance. The 240Hz OLED display is stunning. Super sharp, insanely smooth, and the 3ms response time makes every click feel instant. It’s perfect for competitive gaming and content editing alike. The 32GB DDR5 RAM keeps everything running fast, even when I have a bunch of apps open. I can jump between a game, a browser, and other tasks without any slowdowns. After I made sure to download every driver from the GIGABYTE support site, everything worked perfectly like plug and play. Wi-Fi 7 and all the ports I need are built in. No adapters, no nonsense. It’s sleek, lightweight for its power, and the RGB looks clean and premium. If you’re looking for a future-ready gaming laptop that delivers desktop-level performance, this is 100% it.

Update July 16: The OLED panel has failed, screen goes black or incredibly dim, flashes, green colors, complete panel and or motherboard failure. What a shame. Now I have to send it for warranty, and pay to ship it and wait weeks for the repair, and for them to send it back to me. Amazon refused to replace the laptop, since it was outside the 30 day return window. I wanted a replacement, even offered to purchase a different laptop instead, but got no help. Complete and total shame, a laptop that costs thousands having, in my opinion, a MAJOR failure with the OLED panel so soon, is unacceptable, considering it’s a huge part of a “premium” laptop. Works on an external monitor or tv, just not the laptop screen itself. Total embarrassment from this company, and something that seems to be not so rare with Gigabyte. Therefore, I canceled my Amazon membership as if that really does anything. This is a hilarious review, considering my review I left previously, completely happy about the power of the 5080 with an i9,IN A LAPTOP, and beauty of the screen. What a depressing let down.

The performance is amazing, the condition was perfect as well, got mine returned in new condition. I was worried that something might have been wrong, but it was like fresh out the box. Saved a lot with the purchase as well. The colors on the OLED were really vivid, this was my upgrade from my 1050 to 😂. I am very happy with my purchase.

Gets hot quickly, screen is kinda washed out for an oled. Fans get loud. It’s a gaming laptop. Everything from how it performs to the build quality seem pretty decent for its class. I recommend buying on sale if you’re looking at it. Setup for replacement ram(more), and SSDs was pretty easy if you have experience in that dept. mine came installed with a 1TB gen 3 nvme… replaced that with a 1TB 9100 pro (boot) and added a 990 pro 4TB (storage). The laptop supports a nvme 5x4 for the boot slot and 4x4 for the storage, after replacement 9100 pro sitting around 12/13GB/s and 990 pro at 6.9/7GB/s. The laptop has a good amount of nuances that I haven’t dug into fully yet (since I only use it for travel) but with a fresh install of windows/linux it’s actually pretty powerful for what it is. I minus one star for them shipping the laptop with a gen 3 nvme, which is dated and slow. For the price it should have had a gen 4 or 5 out of the box. Other than that if you can get it on sale and don’t mind a slow boot drive I’d give it a 8.5/10 for value. *if they ship it with a gen 4 or 5 nvme in the future (not likely) it would be a 9.5/10 value since with the 32GB ddr5 it comes with and not having that hardware bottle neck it would be a great experience from day one.

It's nice, fans can be a little loud but it's kept it cool enough without over heating.
