Almost great - light quality not the best
Easy to install, works above or below the bars, or in my case mounted under an out-front mount on a go-pro mount.Simple to remove and replace when leaving the bike somewhere.Quite light, with decent battery life and quick charging. In fact almost perfect. The only issue is the “medium” setting is too dim. On full, it lights the road so you can cycle in full dark, but the battery life is only an hour, which is too short, and it is a bit blinding for cars.On Medium, the battery lasts ok, but it is just too dim to cycle safely at speed in full darkness. There is too much of a gap between those settings. I also prefer the colour of white of some other lights. But for daylight visibility, short hops in the total dark, or going around town/semi-lit areas, it is good.

Great quality and excellent features.
This bicycle LED lamp from Towild is much better than other similar lights that I have owned, it is very well designed and made from quality materials and includes some excellent features. The all-metal body feels solid and durable. It has several brightness levels and modes of operation; on full power, this light is very bright indeed and you should not look directly into it. So powerful It can actually get quite hot after a while. The included fixing mount is also very well designed and provides a firm anchor that can be easily adapted to fit handlebars, front bearing hubs, or front forks. It includes a quick-release mechanism so the lamp can be easily removed and used as a handheld torch as well as for anti-theft purposes. The “intelligent” mode is a great idea, if there is no movement for two minutes, the light powers off, but immediately powers back on as soon as the lamp detects any movement. What I particularly like is the wireless remote button which, when mounted in a convenient place on the handlebar will operate the lamp wherever it is fitted. This feature sets it apart from any other similar lamp I have tried. The light beam has a very good spread and illuminates the way ahead very well, even when set on the lower power, and it has a good cut-off at hieght so is less likely to dazzle other road users or pedestrians. The 4000mAh rechargeable battery lasts a long time, easily up to eight hours on moderate light, is quick to recharge, and can be used as a backup power bank for phones, tablets, laptops etc. Complete with clear concise instructions, I think this LED bike lamp from Towild is excellent value.

My second towild light. A definite recommendation
I have the same brand, but a more powerful version of this currently on my road bike. This will replace that light and I will move my existing light to my mountain bike .It is of a solid build, it is rainproof and is extremely bright. The light spreads over a wide range and will certainly help to turn your dark roads into a well lit path. The battery runs for long enough, but on the brightest setting I would have hoped for a little longer than the two hours it generally gives. That said, most of my road cycling will have the light set to a lower setting, or the lowest for daytime riding. This is easy enough to recharge though, so having a charging point near where I store the bike, means I just unclip and plug in to charge overnight.A nice bright beam, this light stretches forward sufficiently to light the road ahead at speed, and its left to right coverage is again sufficient for most use.I like the fact that this is so tough, robust and heavy. It feels like top quality and certainly preforms like it too. The remote is useful, but I find it a bit unnecessary for my purposes. Mostly because, even though flashing your light is fine to warn others of your presence, car drivers see that as a signal to pull out in front of you. So, I don't flash. An excellent light that is easily connected to the handlebars. I recommend it.

What an impressive light!!
This is a great bike light!! It’s super bright with 3 brightness settings for around town or the darkest back roads. Has a well formed bean soo you can adjust soo it doesn’t dazzle other road users. The remote is handy being able to place this near handlebars so you can adjust the brightness. Clamp is really good and holds the light in place well. Light can be released easily by rotating. Light has a solid metal housing so should withstand drops. Gets hot as it’s working which is to be expected with this as it’s soo bright. Comes with recharging cable. A great light and makes night riding a lot safer!!

Elite Torch Perfect As The Autumn Aproaches.
As the summer wanes, as does the light, the promise of Autumn and its beauty signifies the need to attach a light to the bike. I have had a number of lights over the years, but none have been quite to this standard.First of all, I like the sturdy feel to it and it attaches to the bike really easily and release simply too.The light though does have some distance and I have also used the device to take the dog for a walk also. The battery is also very good I have only charged a handful of times but the descent into winter is where the battery will get tested the most. The wet conditions don't bother the light at all as it is well cased. The remote works really well too but the vibration feature I personally think requires some further tweaks to ensure it works properly. But I would still recommend this light to any serious cyclist.

Don't even think about it - Just buy it, it's that good
So, to get maybe the one contentious issue out of the way, yes, this bike light with handlebar remote control is a bit on the pricey side (£79.99 with 20% voucher discount at the time of this review). Transversely, most cyclists, myself included, have all gone for the cheap as chips options with bike lights. However, as the old saying goes, buy cheap, buy twice.Having put this light and remote through its paces a few times already, I can honestly say that from this point onwards, this is the only way to go with regards to bike lights. The build quality alone is far superior to all previous bike lights that I have had in the past. It is a solid metal construction and shouts longevity. It is quite weighty for a light too, so the unit gives a great deal of reassurance in use on the road.Installation is both simple and flexible, as you can place it directly on the handlebars or you can use the included mount or it is compatible with an out front mount the same that bike computers and action cameras use. After pairing the included remote control with the light, it enables you to switch the unit on and off, choose one of 5 different lighting modes (including, slow/fast flash and constant) and the overall brightness from dim to unbelievably bright. There is absolutely no danger of not being seen by other road users with this on your bike, in fact I have wondered if it is almost too bright for other road users, you have to see it to really appreciate just how good this light really is.The light is powered by an internal rechargeable battery and is charged using the included charge cable. It takes a couple of hours to fully charge the light to full capacity and once full, will last you around 12 hours of use when using low flashing mode.A really great feature of the light is that if your bike is stood stationery for more than 2 minutes, the light detects no vibration/movement and automatically switches itself off. If you then start moving within an hour of the light switching off, it will then automatically switch on. A great start/stop mechanism, to help preserve battery life.Lastly, should you use the light out in inclement weather, you are covered by IPX6 waterproofing, including the charge port and power buttons, both on the light and remote control. So you have total peace of mind that it will continue to work even whilst it is getting soaking wet.I am literally blown away at just how good this light/remote control system is. It is probably 2-3 times brighter than any other light setup that I have had in the past and it just all works seamlessly. The build quality and reliability makes this an absolute no brainer. Yes, it is a little pricey, but should you choose to purchase it, you will definitely see where the extra money has gone to. Just don’t leave it on your bike unattended, as it’ll disappear quicker than any magician can palm it.A truly fantastic product that I hugely recommend.

No battery indicator and confusing controls
This is relatively easy to attach to the bike- the strap has threads on and a bolt to secure it. The light itself can twist 90 degrees to attach and detatch. However the attachment on the light comes preattached with the bracket on the top side of the light- meaning that the light was upside down and we couldnt can't easily access the switch- this is not as most of the photos where it shows where the bracket is on the bottom. It also seems to have a go pro style bracket but no other attachments to use this. I did wonder if that was why the bracket was initially on the top but then there would be no way to atttach the light to the camera as well as to the bike. We had to remove and swap over the bracket with a 2.5mm hex key. The light was bright- you can cycle through 3 brightness levels with a short press and then turn it off via a long press on the same switch. If you do a quick double press if moves into the warning mode and these 2 options can be wapped between with a short press. They include a fast flashing light or more of a lower pulsation or breathing light. It has an intelligent mode or manual mode. In intelligent mode it will turn off it you arent moving after 2 minutes and turn back on when you start again. To move into this mode you need to hold down the button when its off, and continue holding the button even when the light comes on and wait for the light to flash- it will then switch over to intelligent. In this mode it turns off after 2 minutes of not moving and back on as soon as you move it again. Apparently it will stay ready to turn back on for an hour after it turns off but I didnt leave it inactive for this long to check that. The photos say 5000mAh whilst the text says 4000mAh- I am not sure which is true. I also have no way of knowing before my bike ride how charged the battery is- for this price I would have wanted a charge level indicator. All it has is a flashing that occurs at 10%- to me this is useless as this could happen within minutes of me starting a ride. The small remote control clips round the bar with a small rubber ring. The remote control pairs by holding the bike light until it turns red and then pressing the remote. The remote can change the brightness or turn off the light but it cant be used to turn it on again unless its in intelligent mode and within one hour. I found that the buttons on the rmeote are not that intuitive to me- given I will not have the instructions with me when I ride I am going to get confused with the remote. Sat with the instructions next to me testing it I was finding that it was going into modes I wasnt expecting. The same is true of the light itself. With only one button there were so many ways of short press, double press, long press with it on, long press with it off that it would have been much better to have a few extra buttons to simplify it all.
