will this repair dog pee spots?

I don’t know for sure, but I have two dogs, have planted this same grass seed all over my yard for years (I tear up my grass in the fall when I put out a lot of Christmas decorations in my yard) and it has always grown and filled in any bare spots well. I’ve found the trick with areas where dogs pee on the grass is to really water the grass/bare spots so that the urine flows away and can’t concentrate in those areas any longer. I then plant the grass seed and water it regularly so that if any dogs do continue to pee in those spaces, the water dilutes the pee and the grass grows/fills in those spots nicely. I’ve always been able to count on this grass seed to grow without any problems.

How will this work in the deep south? does it grow well in hotter climates? it's a shaded area just hot climate

Here in Pleasanton CA it gets up to 95 F. in the summer, and can hit 25 F. in the winter. Not humid. The shadow of a 100 ft tree crosses my lawn from 10am to 6pm. I bought $46 of this stuff and broadcast it over the lawn with a whirlybird. I kept it damp for 3 weeks. At 4 weeks, my lawn looked like the White House lawn - great.
