Horrible! Is not very salty at all. Very very small tube....which is half filled! Not at all good value for money....It is a horrible texture...it sticks to the roof of your mouth, is almost inedible...like dried grass. Is not a substitute for salt, more likey a very very mild seasoning of some sort. Can't believe I spent that much on this product...really annoyed!

I was so happy to see that I can order this again! It's a great source of iodine and salt alternative. It has a slightly salty/fish taste. We add a dash to homemade salad dressings, fish, vegetables etc!

- I like this as a seasoning which had the additional benefit of being a natural Iodine supplement, since I use very little salt, and what I do use is mined salt (because I prefer the taste), and therefore not iodized. - My item arrived very quickly!, and had a very long freshness date, so the vendor did a good job providing the product :) The pricing is great as well, competitive with what I've seen locally, especially since I do not need to have someone drive me over 12 miles out, and back, to get it! So ordering this works out great for me :) - This adds a pleasant "vegetable" type of flavor that goes really well with ingredients like celery, green bell pepper, and other herbs. - One thing to remember is that it might be good to pre-soak it for a few minutes if you're not putting it into something that sill be simmered, because the sea vegetables seem to generally lose nearly all of their water and get kind of hard. These granules are nice because, once they do rehydrate, they are unobtrusive, whereas using larger strips or pieces can be a little tough and can come across as strongly-flavored. I can't compare the rehydrated to fresh, because I honestly have never eaten fresh sea vegetable. So all I can talk about is my experience with using the dried products. - I have tried several kinds of dried sea vegetable, and this one is my favorite, because it is *so* easy to use!, and a little goes a long way, and because I like the flavor of this one and how it blends with the sorts of ingredients I use.

I bought this to get some iodine in my diet. Good product, with minimal affect on taste & no chemical additives.
