WOW I love this mirror! Freestanding as not everyone is allowed or can wall mount things. Mine is non speaker (my choice) and is made up as freestanding. There are 2 areas to connect the power supply depending how you mount it - at the back for freestanding and underneath for wall mounting. Came with fittings for both, but you will need what is correct for your wall. The freestanding fittings are 4 substantial screws that simply fit through the base into the mirror and job done. The stand is substantial for the mirror, no wobbling when it is made up. For the mirror, you can have the front lights on, back lights on, both on, combo of both or, obviously, off. The rear and front lights work independently of one another, and both front and rear cycle through 3 lighting modes, and then off, but there is also a dedicated off button in the middle that turns whatever light/s off. When I say button, it is a press area on the glass, at the base in the middle. Clear glass, beautiful illumination and looks frankly fabulous!
