My wife and I have decided to start grooming our Shih-Tzu ourselves - he wasn't cooperative with most groomers when it came to his facial hair. We ordered a value kit to get started, but the shear that came with it was too dull, so we ordered the Sharf shear. The product is excellent and priced very competitively in comparison with products of similar quality. The only change I'd like to see is a slightly larger finger hole for the thumb. As with all well-designed professional instruments, use with care. Make sure your fingers are out of the way, or you can cut yourself quite seriously.

These arrived as promised and in very good condition. I had originally purchased the thinning sheers and was so impressed, did not hesitate buying the regular sheers. Yes they are a little more expensive then some, but the cut they give is well worth it. They are of very high quality and trim the dogs hair like a charm. I would highly recommend these to both my family and friends.

The grooming shear seemed very nice, good quality and sharp. However, never used them. Upon delivery I noticed the shears were straight and I wanted curved. I had several shears in my shopping cart and I put the wrong one in the cart. So I sent them back and ordered the curved ones. I ordered the 7.5 curved inch instead of the 6.5 inch. I found that the 6.5 inch was a little on the short size for me.

They're great and the perfect hand size for me. When I need new curved shears, I'll look first at what Gold Touch has to offer. Very pleased.
