Slenderman Costume, Halloween Costumes for Men, Tuxedo Costume

My son wanted to be Slenderman for Halloween and I needed a costume quick for an event coming up in a few days, so I needed to order one that would ship 2 day with my Prime membership. The only thing I could find that I thought *might* fit him was this Morphsuits Medium. I really couldn't guess from the reviews if it was going to work, but Amazon offers free returns on clothing items that don't fit so I took a chance. As expected, it's just a teeny bit large, but since it's stretchy material, it's no problem at all. The only complaint we have is what other people have noted: the mask is pretty hard to see out of, even in the daylight, so at night it's going to be tricky. Thankfully our main use is for him to step out from behind a tree on a haunted trail, so visibility once the mask is zipped up is not a huge issue. If it was, I'd probably have to cut eye holes out for him, and that would obviously change the look of the costume.

As if you hadn't figured that out by the photos? Seriously, though. I am 5'9", 183# and the Large fits really well; no sagging areas. Fits well. TOO well. I had thought to wear it to the office where people are planning to dress up during business hours? Well...I'm in good physical shape but still...people would be yakking @ my bum and whatnot for sometime to come. More of an after hours-type costume. I would wear it with my Doc Marten's Black & White "Affleck" Brogue boots and it looks sharp but, well....yeah. You get the idea. Looking for a party now! It's just like it looks! MADMEN type look meets MATRIX? Oh...and even in good lighting, indoors, it's hard to see...maybe sunlight would be ok? Also, you can't uses a touch sensitive cell phone as the "gloves" cover your hands. I guess, you could cut off a bit of one finger and then reeinforce it so it wouldn't tear/spread. AND if you DO choose to drink through the panty-hose type head covering? Make it water or white wine as anything else, even maybe beer, might leave a gross-looking area as the white on this suit is stark WHITE-white.

Let me just say that the whole suit is very good, in general. It's not flimsy but it's not suffocating. It fights tight but has plenty of stretchability. The zippers are of good quality and easy to reach. I didn't try to drink through it but I guess that's a feature if you're into that. Now the problem area: The white hood/mask. I've never worn other morphsuits so I don't know if this is a problem with other colors but this white mask offers horrendous visibility. Allow me to explain: Whenever you have a bright light shined on your face (such as a streetlight, a flashlight, or even the sun) the inside looks like it lights up bright white and all you can see is white (because the fabric reflects the light). Now, if you are in an environment with conservative lighting, this shouldn't be a problem but if you're going to be walking out on the street, the headlights from oncoming cars may very well render you temporarily blind. This is not only annoying, but could be dangerous. The costume is a nice gimmick but I sold it because I couldn't wear something that is impossible to see out of.

Overall the suit is great - it fit my son perfectly and looked great! He wore it for 3 Halloween events and every one of them were successful. The hands did get a little dirty (they are white, to be expected), and since he has dark hair you could see his eyebrows in particular through the mask but not super clearly. These are not a fault of the product, just something I thought I'd mention for potential buyers to consider in case you have darker hair. The zippers worked out well too - I'm shocked he never got his hair caught in them once. There are 2 pulls on the single zipper so you can separate them and have them wherever you want (he had them together around his neck). He never complained it was hot or cold, it was comfortable all around. Now, for the only negative thing I will say about it - there is a large text - "Morphsuit" - across the lower back. It's white text on the black, and it is really disappointing how much it's made to stand out and advertise. I took a star off of this review because of it - when you buy clothes they may or may not have a logo on them, but generally they are hidden or at least quite small - this is clearly a marketing/advertising thing for the company which I feel is a bit too aggressive. It seems it would be impossible to remove the text as well without damaging the suit so it had to stay on there. -D

Runs smaller than other suits. This is my third suit. My first two are great (Santa Claus and Skeleton). They fit well and I can move around in them. I wear them while I teach classes at they gym to make my students laugh and smile. Well I did one squat in these and the crotch ripped open. I had to teach my class with jeans on. I feel like it was a mislabeled size, because other large suits are loose in the feet and hands because I am only 5'6". Large fits up to 5'10". This was super tight. I had to check to make sure it wasn't a kids large.

11 yr old son wore it for Halloween, and loved it! he's about 5' tall, slightly chubby so I ordered the 5'5+ size so it wouldn't be skin tight. it was perfect: form-fitting but not obscenely so, room to spare, extra length. I could see how if he had another 6-9"in height it would still fit him, but be very form fitting. it is a little difficult to see out of it in the dark, but he managed well enough. zipper held up well to a lot of use (unzipping to eat candy between houses). I was prepared for the white "morphsuit" on the butt and he didn't care about it. if anything, I'm glad it was there so he had wasn't completely invisible from behind. he wore glow bracelets too.

This invisibility/invincibility suit worked perfectly! After slipping inside, zipping up the back and finally, hiding my face inside the white head covering I was able to take to the dance floor completely confidently and anonymously and dance like only Carlton Banks on cocaine could. If you want to be free from judgment from your genuinely awful dance moves and have them be viewed only ironically through the filter of this ridiculously skin tight tuxedo then I promise this will be the best $8 you ever spend. Note - package and listing promises you can drink through this, but you will spill. I drank water to test and it went as poorly as you'd expect. Beer, liquor, etc. will leave you a sticky mess. Can't say how badly it may or may not stain the white portions. Also, visibility will be very poor but don't worry, all eyes will be on you so you'll have plenty of friends (and strangers too I'd guess) looking out for you if you can't see well. Have fun!

I want to give this 5 stars as it fit my son great and looked absolutely perfect! Unfortunately it is super unsafe to wear because he literally can not see through the face portion. We are both devastated as he really wanted to be Slenderman for Halloween

I bought this for my boyfriend and he was amazed with it! i loved it as it just looks like the slenderman. Some of the reviews says it is a little see through but thats if your drinking water or get it wet only on the face or hands (Anything thats white). The only thing my boyfriend didnt like was the wording "Morphsuits!" written on his bum. Still worth it!

Slim fitting and true to size. If you aren’t slender then this suit won’t magically make you a “slender man”. The mask is a little hard to see through but ok for walking around.

Costume molto ben fatto, materiale di qualità, soddisfatto. Ho creato i buchi per gli occhi con facilità, per comodità.
