Amazing, finally peace and quiet
My dogs are well-behaved angels but the neighbor has 3 little rat dogs that I swear only eat and bark. Some nights they would be outside from like 7pm-11pm with no breaks, constantly barking.I couldn’t handle it anymore so I looked for a good option to make them stop barking. Found these devices, and I picked this one cause it had pretty good reviews.Heads up that it’ll require a little bit of a learning curve for the dogs. At first I wasn’t sure if it was working correctly, because it didn’t seem to do anything right away. I was using the ultrasonic mode. However, after pressing and holding the button like 8 times in a row, those neighbor dogs went back inside. I wasn’t sure if it had worked or if it was a lucky coincidence. Later that day, they came back outside and went to barking again. I immediately went outside and did the ultrasonic mode again, and within 3-4 presses of the button they had gone back in the doggy door. Things were looking good. Now, about a week later, they mostly stay quiet. If they start to bark, I just go outside and use the ultrasonic mode and it will usually only take 1-2 presses before they leave. So incredibly relieved to not have to listen to those dogs anymore, 1000% worth the investment. Some pro tips if you read this far:1) don’t have your own dogs outside when using this. Don’t want to punish them accidentally while using it on other dogs. Make sure only the dogs that are barking will be affected by it2) make sure to have a clear line of sight. When I first tried it I just aimed it in the general direction of the dogs from like 20 ft away and it didn’t seem to do much. I think part of that was a lot of that ultrasonic sound bouncing back off the fence. Whenever I poked it through a hole in the fence and had no obstructions it worked perfectly

Not a Gimmick! Works on cats too.
I thought this was gimmick but it's been a game changer! Although it doesn't work on all of my dogs, like it says on the description, I can't believe I didn't get this sooner. It's the ripple effect that I likeI have 5 dogs and cats.My oldest cat is antisocial, a drama queen. This actually works on cats if theh get into fights. They don't actually fight. They get into each other's faces. Two are senior dogs. My chiweenie no longer barks but she rarely barked to begin with since she's the perfect dog. My Chi-Pin senior still barks. It doesn't work on her, maybe it's the hearing? The device is more for the three young ones. The Pug My Pug has a thing of wanting to attack the Chi-Pin any time someone comes through the door. She's a great dog in other area except this. The device has stopped that! She even learning to sit pretty now. This device sold me on my problem child, the younger Chi-Pin. He has severe separation anxiety and will bark non-stop for anything. He marks all over house when he's anxious. He barks at people and dogs. Crate training was driving me nuts. He had been taken from his mama too early and he was regime to me for being too anxious. He has such a high energy! He is a nightmare to take out. The device stopped him from jumping up and down when people come in, jumping uncontrollably when he sees the leash, whining and biting the crate, barking when he sees sirens, at a delivery person, having barking matches with the neighbors' dogs. I took the device with me during a walk and he stopped lunging and barking at people and riders on bikes and scooters, parents taking their kids on strollers. He's not aggressive, he's just loud! He's actually able to enjoy his walks now. He still is reactive to other dogs when they bark but the walks are far better now. Before while still getting trained to walk better on the leash he was still so anxious when walking. He's now waking better. The crate training has finally been done right. This device didn't increase his anxiety. It calmed his anxiety! It only took one time to drastically reduce his barking and anxiety. He figured it out right away. The device doesn't work on my sibling's reactive GSD. When the GSD would visit it was a complete chaos. Now it's a ripple effect. Having mine now calmer the GSD is calmer. People couldn't even come down the stairs or flush a toilet (flush ffs!) without them wanting to fight each other and barking like lunatics. Now they stay quiet and calm when someone comes down the stairs.Overall, it hit my target audience and threw me a curball working in cats.It has good battery life. Very easy to use and small enough to take with you.I'm buying another one for sure.

This really does work, on some dogs.
This thing really works, on some dogs. We have two large dogs in the yard behind us, friendly enough but get on barking sprees sometimes and just won't shut up. They also growl and snarl, running up and down our back fence line when we are outside and our dog is trying to play ball with us. She doesn't mind running with them sometimes, but when she's playing fetch, she wants to play with us and it is irritating as can be, and if it is dry, they kick up a dust cloud and it is usually drifting my direction.I took out the bark deterrent device first time and as soon as they started carrying on, I hit the button and they bolted and heads down, moved all the way to the other side of the yard away from me! I think I have hit the button one other time when they were barking and it had the same effect. Now, just seeing me walk into the back yard, the biggest and oldest dog will either go in their doggie door, or put its head down and walk as far away as possible. The younger one doesn't seem as bothered by it, but follows the older dog like a shadow. It definitely does work, like I said, on some dogs!
