Review: Prompt and Reliable - Came from USA, prompt service, delivered within timescale, does what it says on the tin, great value item in converting old lenses for use with DSLR for filming, well made.
Review: Excellent customer serivice provided! - There was problem with delivery .The item was originally ordered at the end of November last year , but it did not arrived as planned (that is until 10 of January 2014).Because of that I e-mailed Fotodiox , and they agreed to re-sent the item .Ten days later it was at my door. As for the adapter itself it even exceeded my expectations.Originally I intended to use it with a Canon 550D for which it was designed for (among many others digital bodies). Worked flawlessly with all my M42 lenses (Carl Zeiss Flektogon 20/2.8 , Flektogon 35/2.8 , Tessar 50 and Pentacon 135) .Then decided to have a go at a Canon EOS 1 first series 35 film camera. Despite being officialy described as incompatible with the above model , it worked well with all the lenses (with a sole exception of Flektogon 35 but this is due to somehow lengthened section between m42 screw thread and the camera mirror - it simply hits that section while flipping). A very pleasant surprise! Thank you Fotodiox!

**Q: can i use it on canon 5d mark ii?**
A: Yes, but most of us bought it because we can't afford a 5D Mark II.  You'd probably be happier with the $250-$300 active extensions, which allow focus and aperture changes with it attached.  (this cheap metal tube does not)

**Q: What will happen to the picture quality if the "inner glass" is removed? Also, whats the difference between this one and the other ones on the market??**
A: After much testing with Canon FD 300mm prime and Tamron 500 reflex. 2 inner lenses destroys the sharpness. Removing both you lose infinity on Canon but not reflex lenses. Keep the thick inner lens remove the thin one. Perfect. Except now MFD is a little greater. Not important. Sharpness! Remove both for all common reflex lenses still keep infinity.

**Q: Does this mount directly to the body?  I have a macro lens that I just bought but it is one the screws on to an adapter.  Will this work?**
A: It doesn't fit directly onto the body of the Canon EOS M. YOu will need the mount adapter EF EOS M. I bought this with the 0.43x wide angle macro lens 58mm that screws onto the front of my lens.  It dose not fit the wide angle macro lens that I bought with it.  The wide angle macro lens fits onto the front of my Canon EFS 55-250mm lens. I bought it so I would have the option since it is cheap enough and it gives different results. But since it is manual and it doesn't communicate with my camera, the EOS M sends out a message that a lens is not attached to the camera. However, if you can get it to work with your camera, you can get real close with your zoom lens.

**Q: Will this extension fit on my Canon Rebel t3i?**
A: Miss: Alyssa C.  My one and only experience has been with the Canon Rebel T3.  However, on 30Jan2014 I bought a wide angle lens for my T3. The lens was for a T3i.  It fitted just right.  It works great in photography involving flowers.
