The scent is pretty strong but not as punchy as a live rosemary plant. The oil itself is pretty thick - thicker than most other essential oils I have in my stash. However, I did notice one thing I find unusual. The bottle says the ingredients are "rosemary extract" and no other ingredients are listed. I would have thought the scent would be far more powerful - I expected it to smell more like the live plants do, just probably much more intense. I guess I'm glad it isn't, but I don't know that this oil will work for my intended purposes.Thankfully, I've been reading more about rosemary oil and it allegedly has uses for skin and hair care, so I will be trying that out to see how it goes. I wonder if it will GROW hair, rather than just restoring it. I'll have to update if anything interesting comes of it. I find it interesting that the product description states the following directions:"add 1-2 drops of essential oil to shampoo or conditioner and apply it to the hair: or with wet hair take 10 drops and apply it to the hair."Sure seems like that ratio is backward. Why would I put 1-2 drops in my shampoo or conditioner compared to 10 drops if I'm putting it directly onto my hair after the shower? Wouldn't it be better to put 10 drops in the shampoo *or* 1-2 drops directly onto the hair?This pack of 2 bottles also came with... I guess these are makeup brushes? I can't figure out what I would do with those though.
