HypaClens Saline Eye Wash Pods, (Pack of 25)

I distributed these to first aid kits for family and friends. You can wash your eyes or a wound with them. They are about 4.5" long and 3/4" wide. Exactly what I was looking for.

Good quality. The plastic containers thick and well made. This is a great set for a medical beg and medical cabinet.

I ordered these to flush my dog's eyes. She has KCS, but the other reviews are right. There is too much in each tube. They need to cut them in half so that you don't waste. I tried using a whole tube one morning on both of her eyes and it was just too much. Other than the size, these are great. I'm glad to have them on hand in case I need them but they aren't ideal for every morning flushing since the other half of the tube is wasted. Please make a smaller size! I'd rather have to open 2 tubes than to waste a half a tube.

Pack of 25 20ml pods has 5 more pods than most of the comparables and so is likely the more economical buy. Also, although it is manufactured in China it does seem to have certification compliance for both the EU and UK markets. (See photo) This is the better size for first aid kits and other uses for pure saline only needs - not too small, big enough for most things yet not so big a lot might be wasted.

These saline pods are a really practical addition to a first aid kit. While they aren't as cheap as buying saline in a larger bottle, the advantage is that each pod stays individually sealed until it is needed. That makes them much more convenient for keeping in smaller kits, travel bags, vehicles or anywhere a full bottle would be impractical. The 20ml size is easy to carry and simple to use. For eye irrigation, the pods are ready to open and use without having to worry about whether a bottle has been opened previously. They are also useful for cleaning minor wounds, as the saline can either be gently dribbled over the area or squeezed more firmly to provide a more directed rinse. I like that there is no leftover opened container to store afterwards. Everything remains clean and ready for the next time a sealed pod is needed. The compact packaging also means they can be added to kits without taking up much valuable space. The only downside is the cost compared with buying larger quantities, but that saving comes at the expense of portability and convenience. For emergency supplies, I think the sealed single-use format is worth the extra cost. They are lightweight, hygienic and exactly the sort of item that is useful to have available when you need it.

A must have item for everyone, I keep some in my car for when doing automotive work, some in my shed, and some in the medical box in the house. I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it, these pods make flushing your eyes so much easier than trying to fanny about with a tap and the sink at home. I had vapour irritation damaging my eyes and these offered me relief where as i was struggling to flush my eyes for 15 minutes with a bottle of water. It does not irritate your eyes and feels pleasant.

Very handy to keep in the Tractor and easy to use.

The packaging arrived damaged, but everything is okay with the wash pods. The price is very good and I am happy to find them here.
