Yes but only if it has rigid walls. You also need to make sure that your pump is powerful enough - it needs 3/4hp minimum but I would say at least 1hp. If you have that then it's a very good cleaner.

Hi, what’s the difference between this model and the mx8 please?

Mx9 has little tabs on the sweeper head which polish the pool. They are available to retrofit into an MX 8 on Amazon.
