After spraining my left thumb, and realizing my book reading habit was not allowing my thumb to heal, I purchased The Book Seat to relieve my hands from any weight from books. It does exactly that while being a comfy, lightweight little beanbag that doesn't feel out of context reading in bed, on a sofa, in a comfy chair...in short, if you love cozying up with a good book, this clever support will not distract you from that at all. I love the color, too. The fabric is kind of a faux velvet or velour texture. I think it would make a great gift for anyone who reads a lot. These are great! Bought the purple one for myself and my husband tried it and liked it too, so I bought him a read (punny typo unintended!) one. This pink one I bought as a gift for a friend convalescing from surgery. We all love them! I read on Kindle exclusively due to a problem with my hands that prevents me from being able to hold a book without pain. It is also a help to my husband, who has carpal tunnel syndrome and is also mainly a Kindle user. My friend is using it with both her Iphone and with print books, and agrees that it works great for both. Great for reading in bed. as well as lap or table top. Pouch on back perfect for storing reading glasses and extra stylus, though I clipped my stylus to the loop on the top and found I could leave it there and use as needed without unclipping it. Very handy. A very well-designed and well-made item.

Absolutely love my new Bookseat! Was excited to finally get my hands on it. Perfect fit for your lap, secure hold for both hard and paperback books. Love the design. Completely happy with the purchase, holds my kindle and iPad too! My hands are free for my tea or coffee.

I absolutely love my book pillow. I have arthritis in my hands and it becomes really painful to hold my books up and this pillow has Saved my hands and allowed me to read much longer and really enjoy my time. I absolutely loved. The pages are held down and so easy to turn and I clip my reading light to the back of it and it’s a perfect set up.

So far this Book Seat is working great for me. Reading a hardback book for a change ( INK BLACK HEART) but think I'll use it for the kindle sometimes too. The page holder with cord is ingenious, the fabric is as described. I have a nose-y beagle so will be sure to keep it out of his line of vision.

This has design flaws that really bug me.First, the stretchy cord. It just sticks out and sometimes gets in the way of the pages. I tried to fold it under the plastic piece and book’s corner, but it pulls out after a few page turns. This annoys me immensely.Second, the cord and the plastic piece can damage/tear the pages. I’ve learned to be very careful with the plastic piece but I sometimes get to an exciting part, hurrying to turn the page and forget to pull it all the way down and turn slowly. The cord also bends the edge of the page a bit. As you can see in the second pic, I’m so far into this book, the cord no longer sits in the binding of the book. If I move the book over, it hangs off the edge and I’d have to hold the top corner up. So, instead, the cord is pushing into the pages and bending, sometimes tearing, the pages. These two things bug me the most because I’m extremely OCD about the condition of my books.Third, the loop at the top. I cannot even imagine a situation where I would need that handle. I know this is a super petty complaint lol, but it just really bugs me and I’m seriously considering lopping it off 😂Things I like:- it’s light weight, doesn’t make my legs hot when I rest it in my lap- I like the color- it stands up well on its own- it does well holding large books (first pic is of an 1100 page paperback open in the 800 page range)Bottom line, it’s handy enough that I didn’t return it, but I only use it for large books. This particular book is too big for my hands to hold comfortably, so I use the pillow for it. But, for books under 500 pages, I just hold them.

I love this thing so much. I do use it for books, but I use it for my Nintendo switch too. It forms to whatever way you want to sit. I love the pocket on the back. It’s very ergonomic. was skeptical to buy this because it is a lil pricey but it was worth every penny. Color is super cute too. 💕

If you are kicked back on the couch reading a physical book, this is the perfect companion.LOVE it.

One of the best products made for anyone who is a bookworm. I feel so much more comfortable using the book seat holder when I am reading or using my phone. It allows me to rest my arms and lay comfortably on the bed or couch. I am very glad that I bought this!

Like the size weight and usefulness of this item . Perhaps not perfect for the iPad but pretty good with books .Seems a little expensive for a shaped bean bag however.

J’ai pris le rose car il était moins dispendieux, mais il n’est pas « vieux rose » comme la photo, c’est un rose écarlate pour enfant et le prix est beaucoup trop élevé. Néanmoins je m’en sers tous les jours car fonctionne très bien très utile !
