Apple 2025 MacBook Air 13-inch Laptop with M4 chip: Built for Apple Intelligence, 13.6-inch Liquid Retina Display, 24GB Unified Memory, 512GB SSD Storage, 12MP Center Stage Camera, Touch ID; Silver

The 2025 MacBook Air 13-inch with the M4 chip is hands-down the best lightweight laptop I’ve ever used. Apple keeps refining this line, and this version feels like the perfect balance between power, portability, and battery efficiency. The new M4 chip is shockingly fast for an Air. Apps open instantly, multitasking is smooth, and even heavier tasks like photo editing and light video work feel effortless. For everyday use, this thing absolutely flies. Battery life is phenomenal. I’m consistently getting a full day of real work without reaching for the charger. With normal browsing, emails, music, and streaming, it barely drops. Apple has really nailed power efficiency here. If you’re upgrading from an Intel Mac or an early M-series laptop, the jump in speed and battery life is immediately noticeable. Highly recommended!

I bought this as a reasonably priced means of being able to edit digital photos while traveling. It is hard to find a less expensive option for a similar quality monitor. I'm a life-long PC user (my first operating system was DOS 3.0) and so getting used to the Mac OS file system has been a little frustrating, but that is to be expected. The machine is very robust--my PC lap tops never seemed as solid. Performance is great. For those who have a similar need, I will add that Lightroom and Photoshop work flawlessly.

I am really thrilled with this. It is so easy to move around because it's thin and lightweight. Great for travel or doing work away from your desk. I had never used a Mac before and am impressed.

The MacBook Air I purchased was upgraded to 24 gigs of RAM and a half terabyte storage. The new hardware accelerated video inside the SOC is wonderful. It edits 4K footage no problem and quite quickly. Especially for a computer that does not have a fan. Battery life is best in class. Fit and finish is best in class. The keyboard is best in class. The screen is very good, but could use some improvement. MagSafe or usb c charging is lovely. Fast charging is very quick. If you are in the Apple ecosystem and don’t need a powerhouse laptop, this is definitely the one for you. You can operate your phone directly from the computer. You can use your iPad as a second wireless screen. If you do a lot of intensive work like complicated video editing, the computer will get very warm and eventually use thermal throttling to slow down the processor until it reaches a lower temperature. There are many ways to prolong your heavy work loads before this happens with aftermarket solutions such as thermal pads that can be inserted underneath the case and cooling devices, which can be placed underneath the laptop. This will not be an issue for most users, only the ones using its full processing power which is staggering for its size, battery life and price. The only reason I bought it here was because it was a little cheaper than from Apple directly.

I upgraded from a 2021 model and the difference is bigger than I thought. It boots instantly, runs cool, and the keyboard feels great. Perfect for everyday work and travel.

Update June 2025, rescoring from 3 stars to 5 for the remarkable stability and raw performance of the computer after using it in clamshell mode for several months, zero lag no matter how many tabs i open in chrome and the wifi and bluetooth are insanely strong, I can hear my headphones all the way in the backyard with zero issues unlike my windows pc. Geforce now a cloud based game streaming service runs with zero issues or drops which solved all my gaming issues. Pros: Very thin, light and sleek. The hardware is very impressive, I mean the psychical build of the laptop and its aluminum build. The screen and keyboard are also very top notch. The m4 chip is very fast, zero lag The massive 24 gigs of memory is abundant and allows the laptop to tear through tasks. Apples own mac os is fast and snippy and their built in apps are all great! It has great compatibility with my iphone 13 and can even let me use a virtual version of my phone when using the macbook air. Cons: Lack of ports, 2 usb c ports is inadequate. But the biggest issue is this.. You simply cannot run as many applications as a windows pc can, alot of my games, engineering, and finance apps are simply not compatible with macos, it could be due to the arm chips in the system or the smaller install base on apple pcs but the fact remains you can't even run games like overwatch or diablo4 on mac natively... It feels like a glorified ipad. As a massive pc gamer this is a big draw back for me, this makes the mac feel more like a toy and not a serious computing environment.

I spent a lot of my college time using Mac and while I stepped away from Apple after college, I decided to get a new Macbook for work. It was nice to return to Apple's OS after using Windows for so long. What I was surprised by was the amount of power this computer has. I was expecting this thing to let me type, keep up with normal work stuff, attend online meetings and classes, watch stuff, etc. I didn't expect it to be powerful enough for me to do video editing and gaming as well. Runs Divinity Original Sin II like a dream. BG3 might be a bit much for it though. Overall, I am extremely happy with this Macbook, only wish I got one with more storage.

Great laptop for everyday use, considering that I work as a DevOps and sometimes run my labs locally

Exactly what I wanted. Super fast and last for days on one charge

Bought used from amazon warehouse. It came in the original box, which was in rough shape, but the macbook itself was mint. Super happy. One thing to note, since it came open boxed, it isn't elible for applecare.

Thank you and do like this MacBook Air, it is working great !
