I have waited to post this review until I have actually had a puncture. I went tubeless at the start of the year, and after some research decided to use this sealant in my specialised pathfinder pro tyres. The sealant comes with a tube attachment, that can directly fitted to your wheel valves. There are markings on the bottle so it is easy enough to guestimate the amount of gunk you have put in. When you do get a puncture the gunk is easy to spot. After about 1200 miles, I had a puncture that was a lot bigger than I realised. I thought it was just a small hole and I was able to ride my bike for about 150 miles (inflating every other ride) before deciding to do proper fix. The fix entailed pushing one of the large tyre fixing strips into the hole using a puncture repair tool. Overall this was a lot less hassle than punctures I have had with innertubes where it has sometimes been too cold to change the tyre, too muddy to see the tyre or I have missed glass embedded in the tyre and ended up puncturing the replacement tool. So far so good.

First time converting tubeless ready to tubeless. I had read a number of different ways of doing this and decided that after fitting the valves I would seat the tyre to the rims using a co2 canister as I have no access to a compressor and a track pump sounded like hard work! I didn't want to risk spilling fluid everywhere trying to seat the tyre after pouting it into an unseated tyre. I had tubeless ready rims and decided to go with the already installed spoke band that was on the wheel (aparrantly you shouldn't do this!). After inflating without this product, I had a fair size leak from one spoke... Decided to go for it based on the previous reviews and removed the valve core and used the tube on the bottle to put the fluid in through the valve. No mess at all, and the fluid stopped the leaky spoke after about 5-8 minutes of doing the tyre shuffle, bit by bit it went from a worrying liss to inaudible. I only used the recommended amount and am running 29rs X 2.25. I needed to inflate the tyre a couple of times as pressure dropped initially. Thought I had messed up the whole process and would need to remover the tyre and start again! How wrong was I? Have checked the pressures every couple of days since and have lost nothing! There is also a handy window on the bottle with a guage to show you how much you have added to the tyre and there is probably still enough for when I need to service them at least twice more again! Yes, a little expensive compared to other options but I think muc off have "Nailed It"... 😏

I've churned through loads of different sealants in my road bikes and mountain bikes. This one from Muc-off is one of the better ones. Setup was fine, typical level of hassle seating the tyre on the rim. It's one of the thicker sealants so needed a little more time to spread around the inside of the tyre before seating. For me the most important feature of most sealants is the ability to plug a hole or a cut quickly. Here the muc-off sealant does very well, with some caveats. Firstly, you absolutely must shake and invert the bottle before filling. If you don't, you won't get any of the black sealing lumps in and it becomes pretty useless. I forgot to shake when filling one tyre, and when I ran through some sharp flints the sealant happily ejected through several small holes with no sign of sealing. Replacing the lost sealant with some that was thoroughly mixed sealed them instantly. Secondly this struggles when it's very cool and wet (so British winter/spring/autumn and, tbh, summer). On a dry day the sealant works fine at any temperature. But if your wheels are sat in cold wet puddles the sealant doesn't really solidify and continues to seep steadily through punctures. This is a bit of a disaster when you do the usual trick of putting the puncture at the very bottom of the wheel to allow sealant in; you end up with the wheel on wet ground and the water promptly de-seals the rupture. So I have resorted to drying the wheel around the puncture, then getting sealant in by spinning it fast to distribute sealant around. 30 seconds in dry air usually gets the hole sealed. All of that said... when it's working, this seals bigger holes than Stans or Orange Seal and does so more quickly. It lasts far longer too, mine has still been good after six months or so (thanks cool, damp british climate!). It's made me almost immune to the shards of glass, stone, tacks that litter the roads

Well impressed with this, previously always Stans then the orange sealant. Needed same day delivery so took a chance. Nice big bottle, its thick ( one review says its runny🥴) And easy to spot where your holes are. Bought a bike from Ebay with a puncture. Tyre was full of slits and holes. Easy to spot where it was filling.
