We had a tick problem with our dog after a few hikes, and Vet’s Best Natural Flea and Tick Shampoo was a lifesaver. After just one bath, we noticed several ticks coming off during the wash. The formula uses natural essential oils like peppermint and clove, which not only smell great but seem to repel pests really well. It lathers easily, rinses clean, and didn’t cause any skin irritation—which is a big plus and left his fur shiny and clean. I love that it’s a plant-based, chemical-free option that actually works. If you’re looking for a safe and natural way to deal with ticks, this shampoo is a must-have. Highly recommend!

Does the job. Just know it only works while shampooing. Pleasant herbal scent, but can be strong for a day or two if you are sensitive to that. Your dog will still need flea/tick medicine. This is more like a second line of defense. I use it after my dogs run in the woods on hikes.

This stuff really works. My dogs have been itching like crazy (allergies are high so I wasn’t too worried) but then they kept itching and then I saw the pesky flea. I put this on my dog and it lathered up so nicely and let it sit for 8mins. In those 8 mins so many fleas came to the surface and died. After washing and drying my dog they’re resting and sleeping comfortably without itching! I know we might have to repeat because there might be eggs or such leftover but the relief in just one bath is worth it!

I think it works pretty well as I don't see any more fleas on our dog. That being said, the big issue i have with this is the smell. It is extremely strong smelling. I find it difficult to deal with in a room that is not aerated. Our dog kept sniffling and sneezing due to this shampoo. He did smell great afterwards but the process seemed a bit much.

I just used this on my dog, for the first time. She’s been itching like crazy after exposed to a house where neighbors do not have their pets or yards treated for fleas. So sad to see her scratching none stop. As I rinsed her off, I could see dead fleas. She has dried off, and the scratching has been 90% less. Waiting and watching the next 24 hours to see more results. I love the peppermint smell. It is menthol like so rinse out your skin with soap after bathing your pet. I plan to mist her with the “VetBest Dog & Home Spray” that I also purchased. I already sprayed that product on all my rugs where she has laid down. Praying for amazing results. Will update. FYI: I am hoping the company sends me a free replacement bottle of the Spray since it came with a damaged middle and leaks down the bottle when I spray it. Bad packaging.

The shampoo smells good and the dogs seemed to be happy. We have had an issue with fleas. Definitely recommend

My dog caught fleas and this shampoo was really effective for ridding her of them. The first couple of uses the live fleas literally jumped off of her in the bath. I combed her through while she had the shampoo in to try to get the eggs too and then rinsed it off which seemed to work well for her. The shampoo smells strongly of the peppermint and smells clean although it is quite a strong smell so it might be overpowering in a small enclosed space. It is a lot better smelling than other flea shampoos we have used. It is expensive for dog shampoo but it does work and it was worth it for us and a big positive is that it is a plant based formula and full of natural ingredients. The only negative I have is that my dog is long haired and for some reason after being bathed in this shampoo it made her slightly statically charged where some times when we stroked her we (me and the dog) would both get a static shock but this didn’t last long and went after a couple of days. Overall I would recommend this as a very effective flea treatment and we will continue to buy and use it.

I have switched shampoo because of the price tag on this product and so sorry I did. I do not believe in feeding my dog those awful monthly tablets from the vet that cost an arm and a leg, to prevent ticks & fleas - and it is very bad for your pet over a long period of time. It can discolour the skin, some research even linked to epileptic fits. So this shape is definitely the answer. Smells nice, stays on the pet for a duration as well and her skin and coat looks amazing. I would definitely recommend this product to all dog lovers.

Does kill the fleas on your dog. Doesn't get rid of the flea problem.

5 stars. best thing I've used! been fighting a flea infestation for over a year and no matter what we tried we couldn't get on top of it!. every drop, house spray, flea bomb, tablet you name it I've tried it! only used this once so far and it's already the best product I've tried. I could actually see the flea dirt and little fleas coming off my dogs. (aswell as the big ones). I'm now hopeful it will be the end of our nightmare.

Smells nice and makes the dogs coat so soft but didn’t kill any fleas and as this was more expensive than most flea shampoos I thought it would work better
