Dyson WashG1™ wet floor cleaner, double rollers, removes wet and dry dirt, self-clean cycle

This is great. Picks up everthing - grit, mud - as well as leaving the floor very clean. Makes a dull job quick. No detergent required. (I use rainwater because of the hard tap water in my area.) Expensive, but a good investment. Chuck out all your old duster / spray mops, steam cleaners etc.

My vinyl flooring still isn't clean. Grey tray keeps falling off.

I bought this to clean my wooden floors and it does the job quite well. The 2 rollers was the main decider over the other machines as most others only had 1 rollers and the 2 rollers feels like it cleans better over the 1 roller. Assembling the machine was very easy with just attaching the handle to the main body and you're ready to go. The charging base is also quite handy too with a tray underneath so when the rollers and tray are drying after being clean, I can charge the machine at the same time. The tray is easy to get out from underneath if there is a lot of dirt the machine gets but I usually do a quick vacuum before I use this machine on the floor. The water also lasts quite a bit depending on the level of water you select but even on the highest (level 3) the water tank lasts quite a bit. It's also doesn't use crazy amount of the water where the floor is wet for a long period of time, it dries quite quickly after it's been used on the floor. With the water tank, the instructions say to put plain water in but I put a dash of floor cleaner in to help clean the floors but I wouldn't put anymore than that as the rollers will make the water foam up and the tray will just be collecting bubbles instead of dirt. The battery length is also good, I can clean my kitchen, utility room, reception, 2 bathrooms and a toilet all on 1 charge. The overall weight of the machine isn't too bad either, it doesn't feel too heavy to life out and when it's on the rollers help you glide on the floor. There is a loud crack when I pull the handle down which might sound like something is breaking but it turns out it's just normal for this machine.

I have contemplated buying one of these for a while but couldn’t justify the price. They are now still very expensive but with a name like Dyson I thought I would try it. The first and only time I have used it, it did a great job to be fair. I re charged it to commence the cleaning aspect of the machine and the debris tray at the bottom of the machine fell off. It was so badly fitting it wouldn’t stay in place. I contacted Dyson who were no help at all but said I needed a new red tray. They wouldn’t tell me what the issue was but would replace the tray. They did after 2 further phone calls and a weeks wait. The new tray arrived today and is again, such a bad fit it keeps falling off. Dyson on the phone wanted to send me a repair man but won’t even acknowledge there is a fault with the machine. I’ve returned the machine, there are better and more reliable products on the market and Dyson customer service is absolutely dire. Don’t waste your hard earned cash on this machine

Fantastic Floor cleaner, makes mopping a breeze, we always hoover first to achieve good results, its a dyson so quality product, we live in a large 5 bed house with hard floor coverings to the entire ground floor and only use 50% battery, highly recommended

It cleans the floor well. Albeit cleaning the machine is a different story. Its not easy to remove all the parts to clean properly.

Whilst I was initially slightly disappointed in the functionality, I did soon understand the true purpose of this machine. It’s actually very clever how it’s been designed. Its not supposed to compete with other vac mops but rather offer a unique way of cleaning your floors. It’s been designed to simplify the process whilst offering excellent result. Ok so it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles like you get on tineco and dreame vac mops, lots of digital displays with heated drying and huge suction capabilities. Dyson have taken this in a different direction, it cleans very effectively with 2 rollers, the debris tray whilst being a little fiddly does prevent clogging up the machine. It has no suction through design but rather absorbs the water on the floor and then squeezes it out and pumps into the dirty tank. I do feel some improvements could be made, however this is a well through out machine and does a very good job. I would recommend.

I had high expectations for the Dyson Wash G1, but this product falls short in many areas. It is bulky and incredibly heavy, making it difficult to maneuver, especially for longer cleaning sessions. The cleaning process itself is unnecessarily complicated, requiring three steps just to maintain the device. Unlike competitors like the Dreame H14, this does not have a dry function, which is a significant drawback for a premium product. On tiles, its performance is disappointing; it struggles to clean grout lines and doesn’t handle uneven surfaces well. The advertising makes it seem like a revolutionary cleaning device, but in reality, it is far from that. For the price, I expected much better functionality and user-friendliness. I will definitely replace this with the Dyson V15 Submarine—it seems like a far better choice! Not worth the investment—look elsewhere!
