It's exactly what I wanted. The depth of each section was important to me. I didn't want the food to mix up. The bowl I also use for soup, cereal, oatmeal. This combination bowl & plate gives the right amount of portions to be satisfied, I feel. Highly reccomended!

I would like to edit my previous review. I originally gave this product one star for the reasons listed below. The seller reached out and sent me TWO new plates and bowls. The new ones are wonderful; they do not have the problem the first dish had. Maybe they had a bad product run??? Anyway, the new set is colorful and useful! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! This plate looks great, nice and colorful with attractive pictures. I bought this for my son, who has a disability, to help him balance his diet. He was so excited when I opened it, but I quickly realized it had one MAJOR FLAW. After just one wash in soapy water, THE COLOR BEGINS TO COME OFF! Not only does this affect the appearance and functionality of the plate, but it might be a health concern as well. The color gets on hands and food. I wonder what chemicals are in that bright red coloring??? WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

This would make a perfect gift for toddlers in your life but I use it for myself. I have a digestive condition and need to eat small portions. This make it easy for me to make sure my portions are the right size. However, my granddaughter loves my plate and I share it with her when she comes to visit!

This was a classroom purchase to show students about the food pyramid. I used the Choose My Plate with plastic fruits, vegetable etc., to show my kindergarten students about healthy eating. The plate is very sturdy plastic, the food choices are vivid colors and the additional dairy bowl is great to teach students about portions. I paired this plate with a purchase of the healthy food plate stickers for an additional activity. The students placed the stickers on the appropriate food plate template.

My girls started to eat without fighting about different foods I take it out every now and then and each time they clean their plates.
