Review: Easy install. Solid product - So far, so good!
Review: Does not work well - To begin, yes this dashcam works. No it does not record in 2K or 2.5K, it has audio, that sounds like its been layered and compressed many many times over(it is terrible) so if you are listening to music at any level above low, it will distort to unmaleable quality. Now for my main issues concerning this dashcam, There have been several moments that WOULD have been useful for insurance or to give to police if the camera recorded it like it should have. But it simply didnt. I use the recommended SD card and it is formatted for the camera but the camera simply does not often record unless you connect to its wifi and open the camera and start recording manually... Which is not how it is advertised... and to clarify, I watched 3 people die infront of me and one of the cars involved ran, if the camera was simply working as advertised. I wouldve had useful information to give police but it didnt. Now, after a year of owning it the camera seems to of died... when starting the car and waiting for it to connect to wifi, Ive noticed that there will be times the camera itself refuses to turn on at all, so I literally cannot connect to wifi.... this is a cheap dashcam, if you need something cheap, just use payments and get yourself a garmin or vifo, both will outlast and actually record. To begin, yes this dashcam works. Videos were very helpful to insta, and the camera quality is great! can leave it plugged in and iturns of once my vehicle is of.l don't ned the parking protection otherwiselwould've bought the hardwire kit, l would recommend this camera for anyone looking for a gquality dash cam.
