Works great just don’t hook to battery bank with lots of amps it will overheat it

Connected to phone, love the fact that I can monitor anywhere. Installing it was ok, took a few, but got it figured out.

Got mine in October of 2025 and it only lasted till April 2026.The display is unresponsive, I checked the voltage to the unit and it was 13.4 volts. Tried reseting nothing helped!So I just installed the second one we’ll see how long this one lasts🤬

I have two of these units on some rental cabins of mine and let me say when they work its great - you can monitor the battery capacity and the remaining AH on the system. However, the product does not work 30-40% of the time which completely defeats the purpose of having the remote monitoring. Renogy overall has been OK but this is a pretty poorly made product. Ive got close to $12,000 invested in renogy products and most are pretty solid. But the RenogyOne is not. I have them both set up exactly the same and one works better than the other for no apparent reason. If you are wanting to get this just to get it I would save the money. If you absolutely need remote monitoring then its the only solution I have found so it is what it is.

Remember this is a WiFi device, plug in using usb c plug and update and connect to wifi before install. Trying to do it from RV can be a pain because of signal strength. I bought this to have wifi control over my RV system. if you just want bluetooth use the phone app. I have 800 watts solar, rover 60 controller, shunt300, and 600AH of batteries. All is Renogy. Easy to install just make sure your trailer is level and when installing mount pay attention to the bubble level. once done press calibrate button on your phone to calibrate to zero. I was .2 degrees side to side and .8 end to end but it was good enough to be considered level. hit calibrate and it says 0 in both directions. awesome product for the price. the only thing better is Victor electronics at 3 times the price.

Renogy keeps getting better everyday. I have 2 of these; 1 in my camper and 1 in the tool trailer. Great product for monitoring your batteries and solar components.

It works good about 75% of the time, but it does have its quirks.

With the 300 shunt in series with the battery, it provides accurate monitoring of my solar system and SOC via the internet as long as you have a bluetooth device and internet access. Great to be able to see what's gong on 24/7 without the need to be there.
