Not for rookies - but some of these reviews are hilarious!
I can't believe that people would buy some of the hardest-to-grow mushrooms spawn and expect different results than they got, or even funnier, expect instant results. Most of the dreamers in these reviews should probably buy All-In-One or Ready-to-Fruit mushroom grow bags -- or even dried morels if morel mushrooms is what they want. It is very obvious that reviewers have no experience growing mushrooms. There is definitely a learning curve with mushroom cultivation in general, and especially for the hard-to-grow long-term types like Morels. Growing mushrooms outdoors takes the proper conditions and planting bed prep. You don't throw sawdust on the ground and expect to harvest Morels in a few weeks or months. This isn't how it's done. If the buyers did follow directions "to a T" as they claim, they may get mushrooms just when they've forgotten about them.

I’d give it a zero stars if I could!! From Marky Mark after I requested a refund: Apr 12, 2026 10:39 AM Good morning, that would be like saying if you bought plant seeds and your tree didn't make fruit within 30 days it's defective, doesn't work like that. This is a natural "Mother nature" type of item. Sorry , return period has closed. I wish you the best. These failed to produce anything even though I followed the directions to a T. NOT A GOOD VALUE!!!!

I’m actually lab growing this spawn. It’s legit. Morel mushrooms need the proper moisture, humidity, PH, and habitat. So if your growing out doors. Do your reschearch.

Didn’t work for me. I live in the Pacific Northwest and had no results. I received the package one year ago in the fall, followed the instructions to the letter and after a full year not a single mushroom.

I planted an entire horse stall, we'll see if they survive as it takes about 2 years to mature
