Game changer, huge time saver, and fun!
The Luba 2 AWD 3000HX has completely transformed how I maintain my lawn. Setup was easy thanks to the GPS-based mapping, no perimeter wires needed. The product is well built, and the app gives full control over zones, schedules, and no-go areas. The cut quality is excellent and leaves beautiful manicure lines in your lawn. Pro tip: run it slower with more overlap if the grass is long—then speed it up once you’re in maintenance mode. I love that I can run it daily in fast-growing zones and less often elsewhere. It doesn’t mow right up against walls, trees, or obstacles, so I still do a quick perimeter trim every couple of weeks. But it handles 95%+ of the work automatically. One standout feature for me: it’s one of the few models with four large wheels, which provides stability and helps it handle bumpier areas. I was worried about it getting stuck often, but that has not been the case at all. One of the best smart home / landscaping upgrades I’ve made.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing – My Lawn Has Never Looked Better!
I don’t write a lot of reviews, but for Luba I had to make an exception. This machine is hands-down one of the best investments I’ve made for my yard! From the moment I set it up, I was impressed by how intuitive the app was and how smoothly Luba handled my lawn. I have a somewhat uneven and sloped yard, and the all-wheel drive system tackled every corner and incline with ease. No more sweating in the sun or dragging around a heavy mower. Now that Luba does it all, I relax or take care of other things. It’s also super quiet, so I can run it early in the morning or in the middle of the night or while the kids are outside playing without disturbing anyone. The boundary setting was surprisingly easy too. There is no physical wires needed! I love being able to schedule mowing times, monitor progress from my phone, and know that my lawn is always looking sharp. If you’re on the fence about buying a robot mower, don’t. There’s a Luba patiently waiting for you in a factory with your name on it willing and ready for your call to service. It’s efficient, reliable, and honestly kind of fun to watch in action. Mammotion really knocked it out of the park with this one. And I’m sure they’re not done yet because the updates are constantly coming.

Great when it worked, but warranty support has been VERY disappointing
I purchased this Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD 3000HX through Amazon, sold by Mammotion Technology. During the first season, the mower worked very well and I was happy with the product. Unfortunately, this season the unit became unusable. The mower now continuously adjusts its cutting height and does not complete mowing as expected. I opened a support case with Mammotion because the unit is still under warranty, but the support experience has been extremely frustrating. After submitting information and waiting for help, I only received meaningful follow up after repeatedly commenting on Mammotion’s social media posts about the lack of response, and asking for help there. Mammotion eventually replied and indicated the unit would need to be sent in for repair, but after I provided the requested information, the communication again went quiet. The product itself was impressive when it worked, but a robotic mower at this price point needs dependable warranty service when something goes wrong. Right now, I have a non operational mower during mowing season and no clear repair timeline or next step. Do not buy a unit such as this thinking you will be able to sell your existing mower, if you have one. You will absolutely need a backup option when service and support doesn't fulfill their obligation. I wanted this to be a strong long term purchase, and I hope Mammotion resolves the warranty case. But based on my current experience, I cannot recommend this product unless Mammotion significantly improves its responsiveness and support process.

Huge time saver
If you’ve ever dreamed of a lawn that basically takes care of itself, the Mammotion Luba 2 AWD 3000HX gets surprisingly close. It’s not just another robotic mower—it feels more like a tiny off‑road vehicle that happens to cut grass. First impressions is that this thing looks serious. It’s built like a rugged RC truck, not a toy. The AWD system isn’t just marketing fluff either. If your yard has hills, dips, or spots where regular mowers struggle, the Luba just climbs over them like it’s nothing. Setup and mapping is simple. No perimeter wires. You walk the mower around your yard once, it builds a map, and you’re basically done. You can create zones, schedules, and patterns with a few taps. The cut is clean and consistent. It won’t give you golf‑green height (the lowest setting is around 2.2"), but for most lawns it looks great. The obstacle avoidance feature means it’s smart enough to avoid pets, toys, trees, and small objects. It doesn’t just bump into things—it recognizes them and steers around. Battery life is pretty good. For a yard up to three‑quarters of an acre, it’ll finish the job with a couple of recharge cycles. It’s quiet enough that you can let it run early in the morning without bothering anyone. What I liked Handles hills and rough terrain like a champ No perimeter wires Accurate navigation and edging Quiet, and efficient What could be better It’s expensive The app has a learning curve, but it's slowly getting better. It’s heavy — you won’t want to carry it around

Seems like we made a really good choice!
We have 2.8 acres, but most is not lawn, and what there is is bumpy, sloped, and full of small to big size meadow and garden areas. Our interest in not golf course, but more casual but neat. We are surrounded by woods. This mower has worked out very well for us. It mows very well and is quiet and not that hard to program once you get the hang of it. The hardest part was find a place for the antenna since that's a challenge with lots of trees around. We're glad we bought it. For less than the price of last year's mowing service, we have an easy solution to cutting the grass. We like that we were able to divide our property into four separate sectors and mow them when needed.

Haven't had to manually mow my grass for 2 months and counting!
I wasn't sure if this would work for me. I did a ton of research and thought i would give it a try. I took my time finding a location for the RTK antenna which is one of the most important parts of getting it to work correctly. The key piece is the RTK needs to have view of ALL the GPS satellites that the robot may be able to see, meaning the robot may not be able to see the full sky of satellites and any given time, but the RTK needs to be able to see any satellite that the robot may be able to see, so high on a roof is best option for RTK. I repurposed an old roof top antenna mount. I found a spot for the robot's home where it has decent satellite view and power. its actually on the opposite side of the house but since it communicates with the RTK at 900mhz it's not a problem, doesn't need clear line of site with RTK to work. use a GPS satellite locator app on your phone to see what time of day you have the best satellite coverage, i found that 10:30AM EST is best for me and starts going down by about 4 pm so that's when i have it mow. I got a robot mower garage (3rd party brand) from amazon and it works great to keep the worst of the rain and weather off the robot with plenty of space for the robot to back under it and charge. I was skeptical at first if it would work well with my odd shaped yard that has a decent tree coverage and making it 300feet out our driveway to mow a long part near the neighborhood road AND a steep bank. To my surprise it works great going down driveway and mowing all the road, i've only had it get stuck once. Around the house i've had to adjust the no go zones around our mulch areas with boarder but for the most part he does great again only getting stuck a few times. I use the standard obstacle avoidance because in sensitive mode he gets confused with some dead areas we have and takes longer to mow. all in all i'm super happy with the purchase, it's now officially been 2 months since i last mowed the yard myself, all i do is every couple of weeks trim around the edging and spray some weeds, otherwise "bb-m" as i call him is hard at work about every 3 days mowing. Oh, and support has been great with in app chat, they respond well to emails, helping me through a few issues I had with notifications. There are definitely some enhancements i would personally like to see which i think mostly could be with the app and/or firmware update, the side lights are nice but I wish they would come on when it starts mowing rather than be on 24 hours even while charging. It would be nice if my android would refresh more frequently (or at all) while i have it open and watching him mow, i'd like to have the mow while raining (and the side marker lights) part of the Task settings rather than global settings. all in all i'm still super happy, we'll see how long he last and if i have any trouble over the next few months/years.

Mower has potential / Customer service is hit-or-miss
Works well when it works. Customer service awful. Followed the instructions and set up the satellite antenna and the mower. For no apparent reason, it occasionally loses contact with the satellites and just stops in the middle of the yard. One software upgrade seems to have helped. However, tech support recommended purchasing another antenna. The antenna was not available on their website, but he sent me to a link where I could pay them for "After sales product." The next day, their sales department said the antenna was not available and would not be available for months. I told them to refund my money. Then, I received an email that, because the order was over 24 hours old, I would have to pay a restocking fee. Yes, a restocking fee for a product they sold me that they didn't have. In doing a deeper search, they are not actually based in San Jose, CA, like they say. They are a Chinese company. UPDATE: 22 July 2025 Company reached out after they saw my negative review on Amazon and offered to give me a full refund. I told them I didn't have the original packaging and they said to pack it well any way I could. After sending the tracking information to them after shipping the mower back, they sent me a box to ship it in. I don't really know what is going on with the company. No one seems to talk to anyone else there. The mower has real potential. When the company can get its ducks lined up, I may give them another try.

Happy camper purchase of Luba 2x 3000H
Wow, I cannot believe the accuracy of the maps you create and the robot mower follows time and again. I was a little nervous about following on top of a street curb without falling off. I have hills in the back and it navigates and climbs without issue. I have broken up my yard into 4 zones plus a zone behind my property that is technically the HOA responsibility to mow but they have been slackers lately so I have my Luba cut it. I view this machine as a lawn grass maintainer. I cut my grass about every 3 days to nip off a small amount of grass....no mulching needed...lol. I cut mine at the lowest setting of 2.2 inches for my centipede grass here in southern alabama. Anyways I am very happy with this expensive piece of machinery. Once you get your zones set up, they are easy to modify. So far the battery is holding up well. I always cut my grass when it is dry so no clumping underneath the bottom of the mower. From front to back of 0.75 acres, no issues with satellite reception. The mower just marches on its programed path. If you are on the fence, get it before the tariffs potentially drive up the cost. Thank me later. 😂. Yeah, several gawkers have already ask about it as they stare in amazement.....and so much for the exercise I'm not getting cutting the grass, which won't be missed in this heat and humidity.

A GREAR TOOL FOR RESIDENTUAL GRASS CUTTING
What a great tool. I think this is the way to the future for grass cutting. Once setup it does a fantastic job. I have not had any problems with the setup or signal, I loose Bluetooth if I am far away from the robot, but that really dose't mean much as it will continue on is may way with WIFI & G4. It leave a patten in your lawn and is the envy of the neighbours. I cut the lawns 3 times per week, M,W,F and the lawns always look neat & trim. I can't select all the lawn zones and say go cut in order, but in conversation with the manufacture they are aware and are working on correcting this. It is very very very quiet. Will be back in a while to add to this review Good or Bad.

J’adore!
J’adore mon Luba 2.

Works as advertised
So far so good. Cuts my half acre and positioning is accurate so long as the rtk station is installed according to instructions.
