The wagons are not in metal. Are made of cheap, light plastic
The locomotive is in metal but the rest of the wagons are made of cheap, light plastic. The quality didn’t reflect the high price requested. On top of that, it felt as if the train kept on derailing no matter what.

Great train set.
I think this train set was very well made, and I seen the modern train sets, with a bullet style engine, and I didn't like the up to date train set. I liked the older fashion style trains. I purchased them for my Grandson's 4th birthday. He is going to have great fun playing with them.

Sturdy train
This is a sturdy train that is easy to set up and run. We enjoyed the whistle and steam that make the train sound and look realistic. it is a timeless classic that will be used by our grandson and will last for years.
