Huel Hot & Savory Meal Packs | Yellow Coconut Curry | 25g Protein

I take this when I travel. Just need a cup of hot water. I love the coconut curry.

Kinda bland, and the faux chicken’s texture is chewy. I’ll finish the box, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

Love the concept was so excited to try because I hate cooking and am bad at making balanced meals... Unfortunately it tasted like someone crushed vitamin pills into regular food. Couldnt even finish a single meal

It's alright. Taste isn't great, but it could be worse. Not that filling either. Just got to watch out for the expiration date though.

Very tasty and filling! I wish it had lower carbs, and higher fiber, but that's my problem 😕

NOTE: I ordered the Yellow Coconut Curry flavored pouches, so that's the flavor I'm reviewing here. I got this for my husband, who loves curry and cinnamon and high protein foods. I didn't even want to smell it -- let alone taste it -- because curry, cinnamon, ginger, pepper, turmeric, and things like that are nearly always too strong for me to enjoy. He prepared some for himself and announced that he loved it, and that I should have a bite. Since I didn't really smell anything wafting out of the kitchen, I decided I'd go ahead and try a little. I was very surprised to find that it didn't offend my taste buds at all! I could definitely taste the cinnamon, but it wasn't too overwhelming for me. Wow! What a shock! It's also filling. He ate half of it and was full. That rarely happens with him. He ate the other half a few hours later. That leads me to consider the value of these meals. For 7 of them, at about $29 when I ordered, they come out to just over $4 each. The thing is, each bag makes more than you expect, and with 25g of Protein per pouch, they can be either a meal alone or a side dish, or mixed in with other foods you like. Each pouch could conceivably feed two people, which makes the purchase a better value when you look at it like that. They can be enjoyed by vegans and carnivores alike. They can be taken to work or camping or school, as long as you have access to boiled water and a separate bowl or cup, they're convenient that way. Our batch expires 7 months from when we received them, so they're not going into my emergency supplies, but I don't know when they were made. I'm giving these a strong 4 stars. I'm amazed that I liked it, and there is a lot of good things about these meals that make them a better value than I initially thought.

I used to love the Huel curry, I would eat it every day for lunch and it was quick and easy to make. But they changed the recipe and now it tastes gross! The craisins are gone and it used to be quinoa but now it’s rice. I will never order again unless they switch the recipe back.
