Brazilian Kiss Vegan Formula Hydrating Lip Butter Balm

I've had severe chapped lips my entire life (I'm almost 40). I tried so many different things and they'll work for up to a week at most and then it's like my skin becomes immune to them and things go back to normal 🤷🏻‍♀️ I've been using this practically daily for about 6 months and it still works. Helps my skin become soft and supple pretty quickly after application, and sometimes I don't need it for a day or 2 because my skin is still healthy and not chapped. Honestly brilliant stuff and smells divine too, though it does make me hungry a lot 🤣

The must buttery and moisturising lip balm I have brought in a while. Leaves my lips soft, I love the scent of this brand. It is on the pricer side but definitely worth it!

Honest review This lip butter is basically dessert for your lips. The texture is thick, buttery and really comforting, the kind that actually stays on instead of disappearing in five minutes. It keeps lips soft and protected, especially when they’re dry or a bit cracked. The smell is very sweet and warm, like a freshly baked cake with vanilla and caramel vibes. It’s strong and very gourmand, so it feels almost edible. It also has cupuaçu butter in the formula, which makes it extra nourishing and gives that “deep care” feeling instead of just surface hydration. What I liked * Really hydrating and long lasting * Thick but not sticky texture * Makes lips feel instantly softer * A little goes a long way * Smells like cake in the best way * Cupuaçu butter makes it feel extra nourishing What I didn’t love as much * The scent is strong, not for everyone * Price is a bit high for a lip balm * Feels more like a treat than something super basic for everyday use Tips * Use a thicker layer at night, it basically works like a lip mask * Put it on after a lip scrub for that smooth “lip glow” effect * Tap a tiny bit over lipstick for extra shine * Don’t overapply during the day or it can feel a bit heavy Overall, it’s one of those “treat yourself” lip products. Feels fancy, smells like cake, and actually works. Even my husband is obsessed with the smell, which says a lot 😄

My sister bought me one of these for my christmas I'm a daily lip balm user but would never have spent what she did on a lip balm. Now I cannot live without it! This is my 3rd one! I'm still on my 2nd but bought myself and my sister one with prime day sale. Absolutely the best lip balm ever lovely scent smooth feeling and large surface area still can't justify the full price for such a small amount but on the discount it's a treat and im happy for a good few months now. Recommend buying if you like vanilla or caramel and like your lips soft

This is my favourite lipbalm and I’ve tried and own a lot of different balms. Keeps lips hydrated and I like the ease of application. It’s nice, and works.

I love Sol de Janeiro products so much; this is my first time buying the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Kiss Hydrating Lip Butter Balm, and I LOVE IT!! 💖 I really love how the tube of lip balm is larger than most lip balms I've tried, so it makes it easier to apply to my lips. Also, this lip balm seems a lot more luxe than most lip balms I've tried, and feels super smooth like butter (hence the name). My lips feel super moisturized and hydrated, while not feeling greasy or sticky. I love the scent and flavor of this lip balm as well; it really does smell like Caramelized Vanilla, and I really enjoy it a lot. I do notice that the scent of the lip balm is a little stronger (and maybe better) than the taste of this lip balm. Obviously, I'm not trying to eat lip balm over here, but it is something that I noticed. It is a pleasant, and gourmand type scent, which I love. I'm really glad I decided to purchase this Sol de Janeiro lip balm, and I've loved what it's done for my lips in just a short time. The moisture lasts for several hours, even when the balm doesn't "feel" like it's there (if that makes sense). I don't feel the need to keep re-applying, as one application can last for 4 or 5 hours (depending). This is a great lip balm to wear during the day, and I also apply it at night before bed. I think this is an excellent quality product by Sol de Janeiro. I usually don't spend a lot on lip balms; however, this one feels of better quality, plus it's larger, and takes just a little bit per application. I'm very satisfied with this product, and would consider buying it again. Very nice!

I love this lip balm! I have some of sol de janeiro's other products, like perfumes and body butters, so when i saw they had a lip balm of course i wanted to try it. It smells like the 62 perfume to me, which is a caramel, vanilla, and pistachio type of scent. So it smells really good, and works good as well. It helps with dry or chapped lips to make your lips really soft. The only thing i would say is it is a little expensive for a lip balm, but in my opinion its worth it! I would recommend this.

I got this Brazilian Kiss Hydrating Lip Butter Balm for my daughter recently as she’s obsessed with everything Sol de Janeiro and now I’m also planning to buy one for myself! The vanilla aroma is absolutely heavenly, its sweet, its warm its comforting and it's not at all overpowering. I like that it has a rich and buttery consistency, its almost like putting on a luxurious lip mask. My daughter loves the feel of her smoother lips plus the hydration that really lasts for a very long time. Some of the great elements about this balm- It's deeply moisturizing and a gorgeous vanilla scent. It feels premium & nourishing. I think it's even great for the overnight repair. One small thing I must mention is that although its quite rich, a little goes a long way. But if you are someone who prefers a super lightweight balm then may be this one isn't for you. Compared to the other balms that I've used like Summer Fridays, I feel this one feels far more buttery and also luxurious with a stronger (but still pleasant) aroma.

I suffer from extreme dry mouth. I have to keep my lips moisturized constantly. I’ve tried countless different chapsticks and most of them would keep my lips hydrated BUT I would still have extreme dryness in the corners of my mouth which would cause discomfort I couldn’t drink juices or eat fruit or anything spicy until I took the plunge. I’ve always used so de janerio since I got a sample item in my Ipsy bag. I’ve been usuing their stuff for years now the shampoo conditioner and leave in conditioner are also incredible products but This chapstick doesn’t just moisturize your lips IT HEALS THEM TOO ! In the last two years I’ve not had one leading brand chapstick actually heal my lips instead of just keeping them moist. Along with its durability it’s also long lasting I use it multiple times a day and it last me about 3 1/2 - 4 months. Which is incredible. It’s more than worth the 18$ I wish they made it in a bigger size. It’s smells so good it’s not greasy or tacky it’s super smooth lightweight. Hands down best stuff out here

I love this stuff every time I use it. It always gets the dead skin off. It makes my lips peel. It smells good. It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it.
