Delighted with this player. I needed a space saving vertical loading CD player for a desk surface while working from home during the current crisis. This player fits the bill perfectly. Mains or battery powered, it's small enough to make it conveniently portable. Controls are simple and straightforward. Radio performance doesn't seem too great with only a couple of stations picked up but the player wasn't bought for that purpose. The loop string handle has a wire insert that acts as the antenna.

Love the look of the item and the quality of the radio but it will only play some of my cds but not all of them which I don’t understand!

Very cute portable CD player & radio. Pleased with ease of use & compact nature. Bought one for myself and then reordered one for my mother. Unfortunately the second order had a faulty cd player. However, I was very impressed with how quickly this was rectified.

I use this unique machine for walking around outside at lunchtime learning languages from CDs. The repeat track button works (it also has a repeat disk function) and the sound quality is quite good enough for the job (I don't use headphones as I have a hearing aid). I walk around with it dangling from my hand or in the crook of my arm. The lanyard it comes with is cleverly reinforced by the radio antenna wire. Disks will jump occasionally if you move it too vigorously, but by and large I'm happy with it.

When switched on the radio was stuck on one frequency, which was not a radio station, and would not scan up or down, and so totally useless. The radio would have been the most used feature so I didn't bother to see if the CD function worked. The fact that the clear adhesive tape across the opening section of the box had already been slit, and the two security tags were already lifting were clear indications that the box had been opened before - a previous dissatisfied customer?? Had it worked as advertised, the features and slim profile would have made it ideal for my needs.

Wanted to play CDs on,but they will not play poor quality not impressed

This little radio and cd player is just great i really like it a lot no down side well apart from the plug it would be nice to have a uk plug and only a uk plug, there is a uk plug and a european plug which is a bit awkward for me to plug anything beside my radio as the two plugs take over the other side of my double socket.

Small and compact which is what I was after.The volume range is good.The only thing that was a bit disappointing were the number of radio stations.....I couldn’t get many when I tried tuning in.
