This supplement combines ubiquinol (an efficiently absorbed form of CoQ10) with vitamin E for their synergistic effect. This means that the benefits of the two taken together outweigh the benefits of each if taken separately. This is based on the enhanced absorption when combining CoQ10 and vitamin E, which is somewhat common in supplements. Omega-3 is also included, which consists of essential fatty acids important for brain and heart health. They are called essential because they are necessary yet are not produced by the body.This seems like a good combination of ingredients. However, you may want to give some though about taking this supplement daily. This is because of the large dosage of vitamin E, which is fat soluble and will accumulate in the body. IMO, this supplement provides too much of E to get the wanted amount of CoQ10. However, that is a judgment call and you need to decide for yourself if this combination is right for you.I found the capsules a bit hard to swallow. I rarely have problems swallowing capsules but these are somewhat wide in the middle, almost egg or football shaped. They do go down but if you are sensitive to that aspect you should be aware of the “fatness,” which is not typical of other capsules.One big disappointment is that the company did not respond to a request I made via their website. Using their “contact” link, I requested to see the third-party analysis for my batch. However, after 15 days I still have not received a response; not even an acknowledgment that it is being looked into. This is very disappointing as others have responded with this information in a timely manner.They state that they employ Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). This is a set of guidelines that promote proper personnel, products, methods of production, and general facility conditions. This is a plus but the holy grail of manufacturing practices is USP (United States Pharmacopoeia) recognition. This product is not identified as USP certified.I am rating with four stars. This is based on the well thought out combination of ingredients (although IMO there is too much E) and the fact that the capsule is hard to swallow. I would have liked to see the analysis but will assume that it is favorable or they would not have allowed this batch to be delivered.
