Used this on my front garden and it’s definitely made a difference to the lawn. It’s solid and well built – you can feel the quality straight away. It pulls out neat plugs of soil and collects them in the tray, which is handy, though you need to have a bucket or wheelbarrow at hand to tip them out into. Be warned, it’s quite tiring manual work, and depending on your soil, the tines are probably going to block – the little prong tool it comes with clears them easily but it means it's a bit of a stop-start process. This aerator is slow going and takes a bit of effort, but it’s far better than cheaper versions I’ve tried before. Overall, really pleased – just make sure you’ve got time and a bit of patience.

Working well in my lawn so far, i have tried others in the past and they have blocked up,im not sure if it is the stepped design of the tines on this one or the soil condition improving, but this gets soil stuck in it a lot less often than others. It is nice and sturdy once assembled with chunky foam handles that are comfortable during use. I do wish it had a bar or something to push the tool into the lawn with, that would be a 5 star then. vat the moment if it needs weight to insert i have to stand on the collection bin, and that doesnt feel super sturdy

this is a pretty well made aerator shovel, the overall build is good and it's nice and solid. it's a tough time of year to be testing as our lawn is dry as a bone at the moment so getting it to punch in required a lot of effort and sadly it highlighted one of my main perceived shortcomings of the product. in order to get leverage you need need your knee over the top of the tines and space to centre your weight to push it down but the handle gets in the way quite noticeably because unlike a normal spade you can tilt the spikes that take the cores up need to go in relatively straight. a more substantial foot plate you can angle your foot on a little easier would probably be better i think. but aside from being a little awkward to use on really tough ground it does it's job pretty decently i think and its compact size makes it a little easier to find room for in the tool shed.

I am pleased with the EEIEER lawn aerator due to its ease of assembly and robust construction. It takes a few minutes to assemble the handle to the aerating tool with bolts and nuts supplied, there is an Allen key and spanner supplied which is great. It has soft grip handles and is easy to use by pushing the tool into the soil or grass and pushing the bar down with your foot which pushes the three prongs into the ground, give it a quick wiggle and then pull it out and then the grass cores you have taken out are collected in the trough, brilliant. It also comes with a cleaning tool which is really useful. Overall a great piece of kit and does what it says it should

This does the job okay, it is sturdy when assembled and is easy to use. It can clog sometimes but I am finding the ground to hard at the moment due to the lack of rain we have had so I can't get the most of it. The aerator tubes are quite wide but spend some time removing soil from them but like I say when the ground is wetter it does help remove them. I am pleased with it but need to preserve with it at the moment with the hard terrain issue.
