This is a review of the AFERIY 2048Wh Portable Power Station.This item caught my eye during Prime days because of it’s significant discount and I’m glad I jumped on the opportunity. The unit works exactly as advertised – no exceptions. I’m impressed with the ability to control the line charging rate so that I can charge it from wall outlets that already have loads without tripping a breaker; excellent feature that’s often missed by reviewers.It has plenty of output connection options along with the ability to be charged by either line power, solar, or both simultaneously. The display is large, bright, and very easy to read and understand.Although my intended usage is as a backup UPS for my home-lab running computers, monitors, routers, etc. it will also be available for “extra duty” as a source for power in my remote garage, yard, and other places where an extension cord is impractical. As shown in my photo, this unit is (apparently) an updated model that supplies a full 120vac. It has maintained a minimum of 117vac under heavier loads. I've seen reviews from a year or more ago that commented that their units dropped to 110vac or even lower under loading. I believe the manufacturer has resolved this issue.Very highly recommended as, even at it’s current, non-Prime Day pricing, it is a quality product and an excellent value.

This is a really great unit and it's worked very well for me over the past few months. I was originally using it as an experimental solar rig, to see if I could power my air conditioner using solar power. The experiment was a great success, but I found out that it's MPPT charging is the achilles heal of this unit. No matter how many panels I had connected in parallel; different panels, etc it never seemed to be able to get more than 350W of solar power. I don't know why. I had 4 200W panels connected in parallel.....350W.....3 panels in parallel.....350W.Other than that, it's a solid unit. it has 6 120V outlets on the side, and a bunch of USBC/USBA charging ports on the front. it's a well designed unit. You'll get about 1800Kwh from this unit, and it will run a 12000btu AC with relative ease

This power station runs my LG portable ac for 3.5 hours and with a 200 watt solar panel it will add about 1.5 hours, so that was the reason I purchased this, it has 6 AC ports, a 25 amp XT60 output you can run that to any 12v hookup, the 12v socket is good, it has a bunch of USB ports, with 2048Wh it is a 170Ah system, it is a quiet system, I got it on Prime day for $484 on 7/2026 so a great affordable backup system enough to keep lights going along w fridge, lights, internet and TV you know the important things lol

From zero charge to 100% only took about 2 hours. It seems to provide excellent DC output. It quickly cooled a portable refrigerator/freezer and still had most of its charge. The solar panels, on a cloudless, 101°F day were able to supply 308W when perpendicular to the sun. I would purchase again. Only 4 stars because of the 25% reduced solar charging. Still, an excellent product.

Living in hurricane country a generator is a must. However I did not like running a gas one overnight-even a small one. I had been considering a battery pack like for several years On prime Day I sprung for this one.I have both a large propane generator and small one. I use the large for about 4-6 hours a day to keep the fridge old. For the other 10-12 hours of daytime I use the small one. I'll recharge the battery with one of these.I figured my overnight usage needs at about 150-200 watts. A 2kWh battery should give me 10-12 hours total run time which is perfect (factoring in losses for the inverter/fans). Personally I would have loved to find a power station that saved on the inverter (I don't need to draw more than 300w at a time) and spent that money on more battery capacity. This one seemed to have the best balance for my needs.The unit arrived quickly and was well packed. Physically there are several features I thought were nice. The handles are large and integrated into the case. They feel well made. There is a small compartment at the top with a snap lid. This is perfect for storage of the power cords. Also included was a separate storage bag for the cables as well as a cover for the unit.The sides have small snap closed doors for access to the power ports, both in and out. The front has a nice bright LED light - perfect for when the power goes out and you are trying to set the unit up.The unit does indeed charge in 2 hours when connected to AC. While I didn't look at the actual conductors, the power cable is beefy. Another nice feature is the ability to set the charging current. In the future I will charge at a lower rate which will hopefully extend the battery's health over time. I charged the device to 80% to store (Neither of these are in the manual but I think it's good practice)To test the battery life I fully charged the unit and then connected a 290-320w load. The unit predicted 6 hours of life. In the end it was closer to 7. The fans cycled on and off (saving battery). I never once heard them from 10' away.The app (android) is OK. It's a bit limited but does allow for some remote monitoring.My only concern was regarding the frequency. When first turned on it showed 50hz. I searched the manual and online and could find nothing about switching it to 60. Apparently this is the INPUT frequency, and this was first charged in China 😁. As soon as I plugged the unit in it switched to 60.A nice unit all around!

Software issue. Unit will shut AC power output off and on at random. No faults. Plenty of power. It just cycles the output off and on. So anything you have plugged in loses power for 2-3 seconds. Contacting support is pointless. They'll say it does this when there's no power draw (there's 200-300 watt power draw) then they'll say it does this if it overheats, which makes no sense because it cycles the power immediately. It doesn't wait for a cool down, it turns the power back on immediately. It's also sitting in a 76°F room so if it's overheating from 200-300 watt output then it's designed horribly.Buy a different brand.

I have now been using this AFERIY P210 2400W Portable Power Station for almost a year and feel it's probably one of the best values currently available. I am primarily relying on its UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) capabilities to allow full-time living in an RV even through winters. I have tried other power stations in this price range, and this has been by far the best of all I've tried.I have bypassed a 20A Extension cord from my solar power system into my RV into the AFERIY and back out into the RV plug-in for the entire RV. This arrangement allows the AFERIY to provide UPS backup power for the entire RV and of course provides maximum performance and safety with its location inside the heated space. For convenience, I have also added a power switch for the AC charge port (see pic) to allow using the AFERIY for loads higher than 1200W. Note, the AFERIY's UPS is limited to 1200W total, but the "unplugged/switched-off" unit can easily handle loads up to 2400W. Normally, I use the unit in a load out equals charge in mode. The photo I included here shows the unit with a mild load out (for the Starlink and other RV loads), a USB load (charging a portable power bank), and a tapered-down charge from an outdoor generator as the internal battery gets close to its 100% maximum.When we want to operate our espresso maker that consumes an average of 1400W of power or our toaster oven that often peaks to 1800W, we simply shut off the input power (the switch in the photo eliminates awkward plugging/unplugging), operate the espresso machine or toaster oven which the AFERIY can easily do for 2-3 hours or more, then switch the AC input back on after finishing with the high loads.This unit is VERY QUIET - much quieter than other units we have tried. It is quiet even if the fan comes on for charging or discharging or both - think about the equivalent of a typical desktop cooling fan. This unit has the "charger" built right into the box - much more convenient than an awkward, super-hot external power supply like other brands employ.This unit charges very quickly - it will charge from 0% to 100% in 2 hours.The display is very informative with a large reading showing SOC (state of charge of the battery) in percent and then to the right it shows charging watts (if plugged in and charging) and below that output watts being consumed by the various outputs. It also shows a green bar below the percentage reading and the right bar(s) flash while charging. The left part of the display shows how long until fully charged or switches to show how long the current load can run on the APERIY.Although heavy, it weighs far less than an engine-driven generator yet can run any single load rated to operate off of a 110VAC outlet. This includes electric saws, cement mixers, jackhammers, heat guns, etc. I will eventually pick up another one of these to handle portable duties while keeping this one on RV UPS duty.Our solar/battery setup works great most of the time, but if we have rainy or overcast weather, then it can drop off since it has to keep refrigerators, winter hot wires, lights, and the RVs going. This AFERIY UPS with a 10ms switchover has kept our RV humming along even when the primary solar power system runs out of power. Some sensitive devices like our TV can detect the 10ms switchover but it doesn't affect use or viewing. All of our other devices appear to be oblivious to the UPS switchover time.I will be watching this company for future products - particularly portable power stations using sodium ion batteries to below-freezing outdoor use. The inability to use this AFERIY unit in freezing weather is the only downside I can come up with, but is a limitation of LIFEPO4 batteries that it uses, not the design which is superior to so many other brands.I have communicated with AFERIY's excellent customer service (to determine the 1200W UPS limit) and have extreme faith in their 7-year warranty commitment (extend with online registration).To summarize, here are the PROs and CONs of why you should purchase this portable power station:PROs:- Excellent capacity (2540 Whrs)- One of best designs and performance for the $$- Excellent max power output (2400W)- Excellent UPS (1200W max when plugged in)- Quiet- Charges quickly (max 2 hrs)- No external power supply- Good portability although a bit heavyCONs:- Can't be used in below-freezing temperatures (problem with LIFEPO4 batteries, not design)Conclusion:If you are looking for one of the most powerful and well-designed portable power supplies in this price/performance range without paying "name-brand" money, this is the unit for you.
