Hundreds of Uses: Great for Custom Firearm Holsters!
Following instructions on line, you can form this material into any shape you care to mold it too. For custom holsters for pistols, heat the plastic sheet as instructed, then press over firearm with form-fitting foam. Its helpful to tape a dowel rod between the front and rear sites, so you create a channel for the front site to pass through--you'll learn the ins & outs with practice. There are hundreds of uses besides firearm holsters, use your imagination. Once this plastic cools, it is ultra durable--requiring a small saw (Dremel) to cleanly shape the finished piece. A little grinding/sanding to smooth out any sharp edges and you are good to go!

Looks amazing, slightly difficult to use for .080 Kydex.
I bought some .080 kydex and this seems slightly thicker (could be the carbon Fiber Pattern?). The thickness makes this material more difficult to mold than the other .080 I purchased. Could be they sent a thicker plastic to me and I'll keep it as I can still use it for what I am making. On a plus side it looks amazing.

Realistic
Awesome very detailed print I heat mine in an oven@ 325 laying on a piece of wood so it heats evenly with print pointed up .if you heat it to much or more than once you loose alot of detail when you smell it remove it from oven.

Awesome protection for my mountain bike frame!
I used these sheets as a protection for my mountain bike downtube and bottom bracket. It molded nicely and was ready to form after quick heating in the oven (set to 300F). The sheet's "carbon" look gives a clean and original look to my already black bike frame, and looks definitively awesome. FYA, I used 3M double side tape (the foamy, white type) to secure the sheet to the frame.

dont waste your time or money
this is one of the worst products ive ever bought i do not recommend this product to anyone for mainly two reason.1 after heating to the point were it is workable the pattern (the reason i bought this item is no longer visable thought that would change after it cooled.....it did not2 the shrinkage of this product is insane. you lose more than half the surface area and it doubles in thickness making the eyelets i bought to short. and buying the amount i did 2 orders i thought that i would be able to make sheaths for at least 8 knives but it looks like ill only be able to sheath 4. and im not making big knives 3 to 4 inch blades 1 inch wide and about 1|4 thick. it is taking me a half sheet to make one sheath i should be able to get 3 per sheet.

This stuff is cool
This was my first attempt using this material and think it turned out nicely, with the help from a few YouTube videos.

same feel as kydex.
I like the look and feel of these. I havent tryed heating them up yet, to know how much they curl on the edges. (Which boltaron sometimes does, over kydex.) But feels the same as kydex.
