The seller was great and gave me a refund then he helped me to use the radios in the proper way. So they do work properly with ease. The battery life is about 72 hours before I needed to get put it on the charger. Thank you to the seller for assisting me!
Review: Durable, easy to use, and affordable. - I work for a construction company that does concrete demolition with water. The team I am part of used cell phones to communicate when the pumps needed to be turned on or shut down, which was a huge hassle, and could take too long (in case of an emergency). I had a set of these radios that I took on a camping trip a while back, and I loved how easy they were to use, and the fact that they could take a beating. Sound quality is good, our work environment is very loud and you can hear them, and those who couldn’t could use the included earpiece. Battery life is awesome, we have some guys who would forget to charge them for days, yet it was never a problem. As for water resistance, they are indeed water RESISTANT. You cannot submerge these or hit them with high pressure water jets, but I dropped mine in a puddle and simply dried it off (remove the battery and make sure the battery / contacts are dry), and didn’t have any issues. I only wish you could purchase single radios, being as we occasionally have new team members who need one. A great quality product, I can honestly say I’ll continue to use Samcom products so long as the quality stays the same.

The Radios at first did not work for our range and distance so I tried to get UPS to pick up the order with no success. The seller was great and gave me a refund then he helped me to use the radios in the proper way. So they do work properly with ease. The battery life is about 72 hours before I needed to get put it on the charger. Thank you to the seller for assisting me!

Just so you know; this is not a civilian walkie talkie. You will need to file paper work if you're going to use it as such with the government. I did not know that when I bought it. It works great in the woods but obviously the range is significantly reduced.
